Yes, I agree with the overlook part, but stuff like that happens. I'm sure you remember 2014. But that was different Snider was the better team in 2014.
Yep, I agree. The one thing I worry about in games like this is that Snider coming off the big rivalry win last week may either come out flat or not jacked enough or over confident and fall behind quickly and then need to play catch up. Never a good thing to have to do against a very good opponent and on the road.
Looks like WHME and likely other PBS channels in the state, will no longer be able to broadcast the State Finals for any high school sports. Disappointing for TV viewers, loved watching the football and basketball finals every year on TV

Unfortunately, WHME TV-46 no longer has the rights to show IHSAA State Finals in any sport. The IHSAA has sold those rights exclusively to Bally Sports. Viewers in our area have to use the Bally Sports Plus app or http://IHSAAtv.org to view IHSAA State Finals contests. (1/2)
Why would they not watch film or study upcoming opponent. I guess it is the culture there?? We have D1 players all over the place and we will win regardless???
My bad, they have scored that many points in 9 games, they certainly can score. I'll be interested in see if their D can defend their option. I think they have to speed to do so.
I don't see Mishawaka D shutting down Snider O. Mishawaka has given up 30+ points in 9 games. At this time of year I would not rule anything out from happening, but my gut says Snider by 10 to 17. The three variables that are key for any team, flags/discipline, turnovers and special teams will are key indictor. The team that has the fewest or the least of 2 of the 3 will usually get the W.
I think Valpo has gotten better as the season has progressed from little that I've heard. Thin the game will be closer than before and being at home helps. I'm going with a toss up here.
Yes, parking is tight. All good places above to eat. Others are The Prized Pig, Doc Pierces, The Phoenix, Zing Fusion and Chickory Cafe are all within 10 minutes. If you prefer a liquid diet, try Sun King Brewery.
I would think if they stayed disciplined enough against North's two D1 recruits, they can compete against what Mishawaka can offer. North scored over 40 points in 7 of their games, didn't hit that mark on two games vs Snider combined.
I'm not familiar with Mishawaka that much, other than knowing they used to like to run, run and then run ball again. What are their strengths and weaknesses??
I thought they got a syn turf field a few years ago when they passed referendum. I may be wrong though. I've been to numerous games there and it is a classic high school stadium, not a cookie cutter type. It may be over 60-70 years old or more. I may have to go to game.
