    I'm thinking Snider will beat Dwenger Friday, but thought that last year as well, but feel they should win by 10-14. North side has the talent to play with Snider, two things may hurt them as the game gets into the final quarter, depth and poor kicking game. I'm thinking game is a toss up at this point.

    Looks like CC has figured Wayne out, up by 1 mid 3rd and getting ball back for I'm assuming another TD.

    I think it comes down to how Snider plays. If Snider plays top/best of their game and Dwenger or North does too, Snider still wins. If Dwenger/North is on their game and Snider is a bit off, North wins. Need to keep the bad (few turnovers/dumb flags) team from showing up at any point of the post season for Snider.

    Yep. plus I'll add one thing that separates teams this time of year is ability to kick XPG's and FG's. North is on the wrong side of that equation.

    I can't argue the sectional 12 pick. Though I hope Snider wins that Sectional, It is a toss up IMO between Snider and North Side. Not downplaying Dwenger, just don't think they can win back to back games against Snider and North Side.

    Nothing wrong in putting freshmen in game to build team, player and depth. That may be the way they groom all those D1 recruits.

    Yep, so if Snider (or if regional winner comes out of sectional 12) goes on road for regional and wins, they pretty much are then guaranteed semi game home field.

    Yes, I was wondering how he figured that out. The ISHAA has a procedure they follow to determine who is on the road and who is at home.

    Yep, wasn't implying Snider will be there at semi. They can beat any of the possible teams the could play or they could lose to any of the potential teams they play. I think it is that even. Mishawaka has a pretty easy path to regional as well.

    So you are guaranteeing a Pirate W over Snider if game is in Merrillville? Interesting bill board material IMO. Or are you just saying game will be in Merrillville?

    If Pirates don't make it out of sectional then something is terribly wrong. Regional you will be better challenged. If Snider and Merrillville match up in semi, I may have to go to game. The way Snider is playing, they look really good. Their sectional is scary though, they will have beat two quality teams to get to regional. There are no cupcakes on their path to Indy.

    Good catch, I think I heard they have a D1 at almost every position, so maybe 16 or more?? 😜

    Pirates must have been sitting their 9 D1 players this week, resting them for their march to Indy I suppose ??? Or maybe they entered the transfer portal for early enrollment 🙂
