I think it still needs some form of adjustment. How can Carroll be below Snider after losing by 1 point and then beating them by 11?? I would add that Penn is rated too high, other than Valpo, they didn't play anyone that really counts, maybe New Prairie??

I knew that Snider has done in years past, gotten off of Spuller Field and went to Wayne Field for better conditions. Not much of a change other than north side of city vs south side of city.

Early prediction. I say the Carroll & Homestead winner comes to semi state to meet the 1/2 regional champ. If this doesn't happen I will suspend myself for (1) day of posting.

Is the offense issue due to Powlus Jr. not playing? Is his injury recovery going well and be back next year which is his senior year I think??

You would think that the coaches know they play in second best conference in the state and have a game or two against the MIC teams, So if they are not aware of that they have a 1-8 record, well poo poo on them.

It will be interesting next week, Penn vs Warsaw (previous Mishawaka coach) Game at Warsaw could be interesting.

I was not too surprised on this one. Becker is a good QB, Snider really could not contain in first game and obviously the second game as he torched the Snider for 324 yards plus had numerous rush yards.Plus, Snider is so undisciplined when it comes to penalties, think they had 15 flags in game, had 7 in first quarter. One last thing is they had running game going in 1st quarter and tried throwing, why???? I think Carroll will give Homestead better game this time around.

The season is over for Snider. Congrats to the Chargers, they will be strong next year and the year after as well it looks like. Interesting to note that last night's lose was the first sectional lose for coach Tippmann, that says a lot in itself. I think the sectional champion streak that came to and at 12 years is the third longest in state. Sure the outcome was disappointing, but these are kids and they have a lot of growing up to do. Becker torches Snider secondary for over 325 yards and 4 TD's, I bet he has good chance of playing at a D1 P5 school in a few years. I'm thinking Carroll will give Homestead a better game second time around??

Homestead fumbled on first three possessions I heard, Not sure if they recovered or lost them, but sounds as if they got slow start. They may have come in a bit over confident?? Most if games with SAC teams are on summit city sports, either their web site or You Tube

Yeah I agree, It was some bad play calling to get away from the run. Barnes is an average QB at best, never thought he was a good passer.

Also, I think you are right on the Snider/Carroll game. I just hope Snider knows how to better D scheme against Becker. He torn them up in first game.

Noblesville will not beat Homestead. Now I say that, and know anything can happen, but Homestead would have to have a bad game and Noblesville would have to play their best, mistake free game. Homestead in years past would be more prone to lose this type of game, but from what I've seen, they are a top team with talent on both sides of the ball and good coaching. I say they win by 20+.
