It was a bad day at Black Rock for me this past week. Bloomington North - New Albany has lost badly in their four losses so far this season, and I don't see that changing in this game. Columbus North - As I've indicated previously, CN has been a real enigma this season, but I don't see them losing this one. Bloomington South - I'm still a little bit leery of South over the big mistakes they have made this season, although they played a pretty clean game last night. I'll still go with them as the home team. Terre Haute South - TH South was humiliated by the Panthers last night, and I see them taking it out on a BNL team that is struggling this year against the better opponents.

South has shown that when they limit their mistakes they can be a pretty hard team to beat. No turnovers and just two penalties for 10 yards last night. The change to D. J. Bull at QB seemed to really spark the team, and they finally started taking advantage of Meeks' size which dwarfs most DBs.

Bloomington South 44 Terre Haute South 0 (final) South gets the shutout on the road in handing THS their first loss of the season.

Bloomington South 30 Terre Haute South 0 (half) The Panthers got an easy score near the end of the half when the Braves fumbled at their 25 yard line. South has really throttled THS's offense so far and have played almost mistake-free football for a half.

They have limited their mistakes tonight to no turnovers and just two minor penalties for 10 yards, and it has made a difference.

Terre Haute South - B-South is too mistake prone right now, so I don't trust them in this road game. Columbus North - I will have to go with the home team on this one. Southport - The road team wins in a close one. Bloomington North - This will also be close, but B-North is on a roll right now so I will go with the home team.

Bloomington North 38 Bloomington South 27 (final) A well deserved win for North. South just made too many mistakes, especially early on, and that is something that has plagued them since the start of the season.
