  4. Bloomington North 8 Greenwood 0 (10:19, 1st) Greenwood fumbled away the opening kickoff on their 28 yd line and the Cougars punched it in from there and converted on a 2 pt conversion pass play.
  5. I thought I would add that the following games will be carried on these stations tonight: Bloom. South/Castle game on WGCL and WVNI/Spirit 95 Bloom. North/Greenwood game on WHCC Edgewood/Mitchell game on WCLS
  6. For those interested, four Bloomington stations will be streaming local high school football this season. You'll have to look at their sites to see what their schedule is. http://www.wgclradio.com/ http://www.spirit95fm.com/ https://whcc105.com/ http://www.wclsfm.com/
  7. Bloom. South TH North Avon TH South Bloom. North Southport
  8. My brain went totally awol on that comment about scheduling LC for scrimmages. South had stopped scheduling Center Grove for the preseason scrimmages because of the offense that they primarily used. I guess age is starting to creep up on me.
  9. I was curious about that match-up. I thought South dropped LC from these scrimmages because they ran an offense that South didn't see in the regular season. I don't know if you know, but has LC changed their offense from previous years? I had to laugh, but the last time I used Larry Central on this forum, I got a lot of backlash from LC fans over using it, even though that's been going on for years, and dates as far back as when Mark Patrick was the sports director for Channel 8.
  10. It's been awhile since South has had any real size in the 0-line, and it seems in recent seasons they have been really unlucky with injuries at that position. Based on the scrimmage, who do you see as having the best shot at being the starting QB?
  11. I still see him at South's BB and football games, so in addition to being the beat writer, he was also a big fan of the school's teams. I don't know his background, but I'm guessing he was a South grad. You are right about his coverage of Panther sports, he was really on top of everything and really informative.
  12. I thought I would add that I'm still around although a year older like everyone else. I have to admit that I'm so far removed from the South program as far as knowing the makeup of this year's team, that I couldn't possibly add anything on them that would be of any substance. I keep looking for some kind of season preview on them, but haven't seen anything yet. I'm a subscriber to the HTO, but they have yet to get into any type of season preview on the local teams. I will still follow them closely as the season opener nears.
  13. I'm just an occasional poster, but peruse on here quite a bit. I've been a donator for several years, and if it takes going to a pay site for this site/forum to survive, for what I consider a small amount, I'm all for it.
