Of course not. We just have a different opinion on what is right. Not too long ago 64 teams in 5A was right. Now 32 teams in 6A is right. You & DT think 24 teams in 6A would be right. Then what? Hey, at this rate #17 CG might get bumped back into 5A in a few years.

Thanks for the history lesson on CG. I don't care even a little if we catch Carmel in state titles. You are the second person to bring this up and it makes zero sense. I am more proud of our accomplishments because of the disparity. Moving the bigger schools out of the way and beating whoever is left would be a hollow victory.

Where was I whining about our enrollment disparity? I pointed out that we have the disparity and overcame it.

CG does pretty good in other sports too. We haven't won as many titles as Carmel but I don't want to re-write the rules to make it so we can.

Southport's enrollment is 36 less than Lawrence Central which has won a big school title. It is 80 less than Westfield which was runner-up last season.

We are less than half the size of Carmel. But where does it stop? The formation of 6A was supposed to fix the imbalance. What's next? Some won't be happy until all of their competitors are pushed into another division. Enough already.

CG is what...2600 students? He wants to be sheltered from them but it's okay for CG to play Carmel. This is the typical BS I've read on this forum for years. Surprised to see a coach say the same thing.

I should have known better than to use the term “always” on an Internet forum but you reinforce my point that if you’re good enough the NFL will find you.

Those stats will always favor the schools with the better teams. The question is whether they developed the players into high draft picks or simply recruited them.
