    Brebeuf tweeted that their game has been moved to Crawfordsville High School. Was it scheduled for Brebeuf? Seems like a lot of empty stadiums between Brebeuf and Crawfordsville.

    Correct. It was easier to run north and south. But that one play doesn’t mean all the other slipping, sliding, and fumbling didn’t happen. Look, I don’t care where we play and I’m sure the kids had fun in the mud but showing one play where we had good footing doesn’t change anything. Why is it so hard to just admit the field was a sloppy mess and the parents should enjoy it as much as the kids?

    JV game was very good. Cathedral puts in a backup QB to throw the go-ahead touchdown with about 3 minutes to go. CG takes the ball and drives down to the 5 before turning it over on downs with 0:16 remaining.

    How about the plays that gave Cathedral the ball in scoring position? How about Tayven's punt? How about the CG offensive line wearing down Cathedral's defense? Much more than just two plays.

    Very accurate but doesn't appear to have the leg strength our recent kickers have had. Grass vs. turf might affect him more than other players.

    What about a guy who has been out but gets cleared to return this week? Do you play him Friday in a pride game or do you let him heal for a couple more weeks so you have him for the playoffs. It's not a hypothetical question. And I do not think either side goes as deep into their playbooks as they would if this was a playoff game.

    I realize it is easier to focus on the negative comments but I'm looking forward to playing on grass. If it rains during the game I'll wish I was 18 again so I could play in it. Should be fun. And I'm not sure how Cathedral does it but CG parents don't wash the uniforms. 😉
