  1. Matt Hohlt is also joining IU as a PWO. He’s from the athletic side of the Hohlt family and his dad played for IU I believe for Wyche and Mallory. Great kid with a helluva nose for the ball.
  2. Split end Connor Delp is going to IU as a PWO. This is going to be interesting to watch. Super high character kid with a great work ethic and #LEO will not be something he needs to learn. He's been practicing that all his life. Tremendous heart, runs great routes, and will go get the ball. The coaches will love him. Hope it translates to playing time.
  3. I have read here that CYO kids stay in their parish(?) and I have also read that some St Michaels kids are winding up at Chatard. Is it possible that camps such as this are used to lure kids from other parishes? Apologies if I'm using inappropriate terminology. I married a catholic but I'm not one.
  4. Tayven got offers from Texas Christian and Washington State today. His dad played for Washington State.
  5. Now Oregon War Horse? Don't let his off field calmness confuse you. He's 100% intense on the field. He played linebacker before he got to high school and he was a beast.
  6. Haven't added to this thread in awhile even though the offers keep rolling in. This week alone Jackson got offers from Arkansas, Florida State, and Georgia Tech. Curry was also offered by FSU.
  7. I doubt he was referring to historic numbers. CG is still new money in the IHSAA.
  8. Anybody know when the Gatorade player of the year will be announced?
  9. Zwitt will be replaced by Scott Knapp who has served as the Assistant AD for the last 7-8 years.
  10. If a spot opened up fine. But I don't want to drop Cathedral to add an out of state opponent.
  11. No thanks. And Zwitt is retiring at the end of this school year.
  12. All-American Bowl Coach of the Year Helluva year, Coach.
  13. I understand your context. That's the problem.
  14. Carson has never gotten too cool to hang out with the younger players. He has been a big influence on some kids who were being bullied and others who teachers were struggling to reach. He frequented the fields for practices and games. I think he knew he was a rockstar to those kids but he never let it go to his head. He's just a big tender-hearted kid...off the field.
  15. Weak attempt to take away from the accomplishments of Mr. Football. Be better.
  16. Don't confuse college recruiting with high school accomplishments. They don't necessarily cross paths.
  17. I'm not wishing for it but it's gonna take a whole lot more than rich parents to pull off your scenario.
  18. Yep. Proper blocking is simultaneously one of the most difficult and under-appreciated things in youth sports. It takes a special kid to get excited about it.
