Floyd Central Schedule 2021 @Louisville Male Louisville Manuel Silver Creek Seymour @Jeffersonville @Columbus East Bedford North Lawrence Jennings County @New Albany Im guessing about 5-4 or 4-5 with that schedule. Big rebuilding year. Talent will have to carry them because experience is very minimal.

That will be a good series.

Is Floyd Central playing Silver Creek next season? I had not heard that.

I’d like to personally wish Bob Gaddis well in his retirement. Obviously this was good news(maybe) for the rest of the Conference but it’s hard to not respect what he did in his time up there. One of the greatest coaches in Indiana Football history.

They lost a ton. Polk, Wright, and Michalski are the headliners. They lost Hatfield, Rodgers, and Hyatt on their O-line. That’s a lot of size. They lost Kaleb Quenichet their #1 WR that was injured. Caleb Slaughter their TE/MLB. A lot on defense. Colin Cummins. Trace Richards. Andrew Spurgeon. Trent Allen. Luke Medlock. Blake Zehnder. A few other depth guys. That’s the bad news. The Good news is, they have some guys back I like. Zac Hutslar WR/S. Brandon Fessel OL. Jake Hausz WR. Eli Branham WR/S. Gavin Harvey DE. Max Grangier K. Jaxon Farley WR/DB. Walker Jacobi P/DL. QB position is intriguing. I’m not a coach on their staff so I can’t answer any QB battle situations, but they have a kid that will be a Sophomore named Tristan Robertson that they are EXTREMELY high on. The QBs at Highland Hills are pretty well regarded too. FC should be in good shape at QB. Not real sure about RB? They have a JR named Jace Robinson. I would say he should be in the mix. Not sure what’s coming up from JV? I’ve heard good things about what they have coming up but obviously you can’t just graduate a class like this and bounce back easily. Some programs do. Not sure if FC is there yet? Coach Bragg and his staff will continue to build as they have been doing.

Sad thing is, the entire conference will be in a rebuild. Except New Albany. Maybe they’ll end the streak?

They’ll hire a good coach. But who knows if he will be as good as Gaddis?

It was really good talking to you guys this season. I think a lot of us were pretty dissatisfied in how things went but we were fortunate to have the football season. Floyd Central is graduating 20 Seniors and a whole lot of talent. Some of the best players they’ve had in years. I can’t imagine that I won’t be seeing some growing pains next season so I’ve already prepared myself for that. I hope everyone is safe this winter and we can start attending games with more normalcy next Fall.

This team just lacks an edge. I’m sorry. When East came out down here they were jumping around and bumping helmets. Fired up. Floyd just walked out like they were taking a Sunday stroll. We have a lot of kids in this community that don’t have to work for anything. It hurts us more in football than any other sport. I’m not calling these guys out but it’s the reality.

I’m going to attempt to not talk a lot of smack because it’s my community and I like these people. But Floyd Central got what they deserved. Jeffersonville was the better team most of this game for some reason, so hats off to those guys.

Martinsville over JC-Sorry Panthers. I hope you guys get it turned around eventually. Mooresville over Madison-This was a better season for Madison. I know they are leaving the HHC, but they have better days ahead.

Congratulations to former Columbus East Olympian and Indiana University starting Center, Harry Crider, on being named a Captain for the upcoming season! He’s a stud.

Well I still shouldn’t be in last place. Lol.

FC/BNL recap. My first trip back to BNL in several years. Really nice weather. The stadium looked good. Friendly people as always. Bedford is one of the more enjoyable road trips. I thought BNL hung in at times. They’re definitely young and undersized. But they moved the ball at times. I really like their QB Brye Lewis. He needs to trust his arm more but he can really scramble and get yards. He’ll be hard to deal with as a Senior. They have a pretty good WR as well. Offensively for FC, they did whatever they wanted. 220 yards for Wenkers Wright and 174 yards passing for Tristan Polk. Wright was really good in this game and almost broke some long house calls. Good win for the Highlanders with Seymour and a Favorable Sectional coming up with a really good chance to host a Regional game.

FC is up 42-14. Polk just connected on a bomb. That may have been the best thrown ball I have ever seen from a Floyd QB. BNL has moved the ball a little bit. I like their QB a lot. Man he’s a tough kid.

Do you guys think they’ll put East in the Sectional next year with the other HHC teams?

Week 8 Floyd Central at Bedford NL-The Veteran Highlanders taking on the youthful Stars. I think this game will be much closer than expected. BNL up there can be tricky. Hopefully it doesn’t rain. I’ll say Highlanders 28-14. Jeffersonville at Jennings County-The Red Devils have been able to beat really bad teams. And the Panthers are a really bad team. If there is one HHC team I want to really improve, it’s JC. I like that area. I’ve got the Red Devils by a score of 42-7. New Albany at Madison-The Dogs can score. And the Cubs are better. It will be a game of pay dirt. But NA at home, with their speed will be too much. I’ve got the Dogs by a score of 37-28. Seymour at Columbus East-The Owls continue to get better. Unfortunately, so do the Gaddis led Olympians which should be expected by now. The 2nd best team in the conference lost by 4 TDs at home to East. This one won’t be close either. The Os by a score of 45-0.

I’m not suprised you took this dig. Well he was a Varsity Head Coach. So it’s safe to say his High School Football knowledge is extremely good.

I thought it was funny that Floyd put up 55 on Jennings and only had 140 total yards. Has that ever happened before? They kept scoring on pick 6’s, Fumble Return TD, Punt Return TD. Their offense was barely on the field. Jennings is just bad all the way around.

You guys will dominate untill Gaddis retires and maybe after that. We literally had a big O-Line last week with a likely Ohio State commit, and Illinois State RB, and a QB that might play D-2 and still couldnt make it a game. That coaching staff develops players up there as good as any that I’ve seen.
