Probably the same ones waiting for resident "libertarians" to pay their fair share of free market road access, etc., Evangelicals to put their vote where their Bible really is, and fiscal conservatives to hold their presidential leader beholden to the party platform. Sure, why not? I don't think he'd argue with you.

I thought I was wrong once, but I was wrong about that.

Julian Assange arrested
foxbat replied to swordfish's topic in Gridiron Out of Bounds's Out of Bound Forum
Looks like it was for the same reason that folks tire of household guests: Being "discourteous and aggressive" Running a blog out of the host's house Installing stuff in the host's house And bad hygiene. At least he lasted longer than most relatives who do this stuff. https://www.yahoo.com/gma/assanges-ecuador-embassy-life-discourteous-aggressive-behavior-bad-174000477--abc-news-topstories.html -
I would agree with you on the context part and would take it a step further. As you mentioned, there are many Blacks that do not condone or use the n-word from any source. There are others that don't care for it when used in one form, but as fine in another ... based on context. Among friends, regardless of race, there are terms that are sometimes used jokingly in reference to each other like *ss, d*ck, SOB, etc.,, that in context, from a particular source, or with a particular tone in the voice pass without a blink of the eye as being non-threatening, non-demeaning, non-aggressive, etc. Yet, when anyone else not part of that circle uses a similar word, even perhaps in jest, it draws major attention. Similarly, actions. There are plenty of actions that husbands do with their wives and wives do with their husbands, in public, that would never be acceptable by anyone else in public. Even among family members, there are things that are done that are only allowed within the family and never by an outsider and we would all be fine with that. Just like the brother and sister who fight like cats and dogs and insult each other, it is not an open season for that brother's best friend to insult his sister. Matter of fact friends often find out really quickly the distinction between friends and family when that line is crossed. Most of us would not dare to cross that line with a friend's family or even a stranger's family, yet often seem to have no issue crossing the line with other cultural groups.

Tribute to Dwayne Wade
foxbat replied to Irishman's topic in Gridiron Out of Bounds's Out of Bound Forum
An amazing tribute and an amazing person. I never really followed him on the court as I'm not a basketball fan, but always noted that he seemed to show up in my news feeds for non-basketball stuff. Those impacts that he had seem to produce additional ripples as well that will hopefully continue to be passed on.- 1 reply

Neither ... just a bit of ciphering ... Or for those in the gifted and talented class that mix math with the arts, the Ernest T. Bass math method ...

A number there to generate a new thread on OOB to further enhance conspiracy theory activity/posts. Kind of like the number of geese in a V. If you've ever looked at a geese flying in a V and noticed that one side is longer, there's a very specific reason for that ... there are more of them on that side.

Take a look at the "coincidences" attached to Confederate statue building/placement and look at the narrative about it today. Similarly, the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. What it starts out as and what it becomes based on framing tends to be altered for acceptability later on. It is a direct reflection that Churchill was incorrect when he stated that, "History is written by the victors."
