An extra bye week before the sectional I assume.
You know those MIC schools. When they win, the “grind” of the MIC schedule prepared them for the postseason but when they lose, the MIC schedule “took its toll.”
Happens every year.
These are the kinds of comments written by someone who doesn't understand the MIC.
It is a curious pickup for Warren, but they're always going to be searching for a game at that time with the way their schedule is constructed, and it probably won't be anyone in a major conference since they're mostly all wrapping up that week.- 1

It's not much of a rivalry yet, but Ben Davis and Brownsburg has the potential to be a very good one. The Giants actually lead this series, 5-0.

I forgot 6/7 had switched numbers. The Southport/Perry Meridian sectional has historically been Sectional 7.
Yes sir!

Some thoughts
6A: That moved BD to Sectional 7 and allowed Sectional 6 (WC/LC/LN/NC) to largely stay together in a grouping that has been pretty consistent through most sports.
BD is in Sectional 6.

Ben Davis has to be happy with its Sectional draw. Southport is always tough, but Tech and Perry have been struggling mightily. The way the rest of the tourney is structured means that you'll only get either Center Grove or Warren at Semi-State.

So, I'd have to think BD is pretty happy with its draw after the last few years of what it had in Sectional and Regional. It's only a good draw though if you win, and Regional is pretty tough!
