Bloomington North 35 Evansville North 30 (final)

Evansville North had the ball at the Cougars' 12 yard line with 1.3 seconds left, but a PI call on the Cougars on an incomplete pass put the ball at the Cougars' 6 yard line for a final play. The Huskies QB rolled out and looked like he had scored on a run, but it was ruled that he stepped out at the 4 yard line to end the game. Bloom. North will play at Bloom. South for the Sectional 15 championship. South beat North, 28-14, during the regular season.

This is a pretty weak sectional, but the fun thing was all 4 of the teams were equal, and made the games interesting.

    East Central.    52

    Mooresville.      26

    2:26 left

EC re-kicked the EP because Mooresville roughed the female kicker.  Wouldn’t be surprised if EC ran for over 500 yards tonight.

    That makes it even stranger.

What’s in the rule book Bob? Roughing a FEMALE kicker.
    It might make it stranger.

Well, it’s here folks. 11-0 #4 Eastside travels to 10-1 #2 Bishop Luers. I expect this game to absolutely live up to the billing. Coach Mason’s postgame comments tonight were awesome to hear! I love when Coaches get fired up like that. It adds to what is already a big game for both teams. Thoughts?? Predictions?

I’m not backing off of Bishop Luers.  This is another one of their storied programs great teams.

Love for Eastside to get this one, but, you don’t bet against the Catholics!

They called a good game, let's not get carried away with having the best coaching staff in Northeast Indiana.

Lol, don’t believe I said that lol.
If they had the horses you might not dismiss them as easy.

EN tightened the game with a TD and a two point conversion.

    Good god! Bloomington!

I've watched several EC & Mooresville games this year, and I think EC wins this one by 1 or 2 TD's.

EC forced Roncalli's players to make some incredibly contested catches in the pass game. And EC's offense was wildly impressive compared to years past & hit some major explosive passes on Roncalli as well.

Mooresville's offense is really dang good as well but I think EC forces a key stop or two in the first half, and keeps Mopi at arm's reach throughout the game.

The weather is going to be the ultimate factor though.

Wow, EC. Ok You have first hand knowledge. Watching several of both teams games this year. No argument from me then. I’m putting my wad (dollars)on EC.

ShakeDown! Long time no see, yes BHSS has the McCullough Brothers, but it sounds like BHSS has been struggling recently too. And with the weather looking iffy and Castle being at Home, which should favor them. Lots of factors involved in this game, but I do think BHSS will be competitive in this game too, as they have athletes. Should be an intriguing one for sure.

Will castle host championship if they win? And Bloomington north wins?

We shall see, I’m really intrigued by south’s coach. How can a guy do so little with so much.
