Speaking of Ball state , anyone watch Colts game last night? Alum catches a pass for the TD. Could be Steele in a few years.

I’m biased, who ever advances, I hope goes on to win the whole thing.

I am not saying Ball State isn't the best fit....this may be a life blessing and I do believe God helps us on the right path if we are willing to listen with our ears and our hearts. But I would have liked to have seen Carson have the choice and I hope IU and Purdue opens their eyes a little more at our in-state talent. But I don't disagree...Ball State may end up being the absolutely perfect fit.
Understood.

I should know better, I drive for the Amish in Middlebury/Shipshewana and routinely make trips to Grabill and that area 🤷🏻♂️
Lol, there’s no place like the ‘Haus around Grabill though. The closest thing is a convenient store in Hoagland that used to fry up good chicken gizzards!

Maybe just maybe ,mr. And mrs. Steele along with Jr.. decided that for them , Ball State was a better fit and opportunity . Man has anyone been paying attention to PU and IU’s programs? Uh, the Steele family may be on to something here. Let’s reevaluate in a few years.

Never been a white wine/caviar type of guy. I'm more of a burger/brats individual who sprinkles in the occasional pre game keg stand.
Don’t get the Roncalli and Chatard tribes started on a war path.

I have heard good things about Essenhaus.
But, please don't take this the wrong way; I chuckled a bit about the Amish experience for Leo fans.........there are a LOT of hitching posts and manure covered roads around the Leo area as well. 🙂
Grabill ,Harlan, Woodburn,Zulu, Hoagland, lots of hitching posts.

Evil Czech Brewery in Mishawaka is always a good eat. La Hacienda is really good Mexican food as well. Other Northern Indiana people may be able to chime in more.
Beer and Mexican! That’s an explosive combination. What side, did you say you will be on? Visitor or home?

Passive aggressive much, Lysander. You are the most gushing, obnoxious Chatard apologist on the board. Evidenced by your 6 paragraph post on how good Chatard and Doyle is. Funny.
Pound sand. You'll always be Cathedral's little red-headed step child. Roncalli wins by 2 TDs. Roncalli running game rolls.
Looks like Lysander has a fan! Lucky!

Interesting fact, one of the players on the Roncalli squad. His dad happens to be the principal at Chatard..I’m thinking Dad will be sitting by himself Friday night without mom. If I was a betting man.

Penn has rolled because they are playing weak NIC teams . There are 4-5 DAC teams that would roll Any and All NIC teams this year . Think Penn is way to one dimensional on offense to beat Chesterton .
Hmmmm….,..Chesterton?

that is what made yesterday so tough. McCulley had a nice start and one can see potential. Hendershot was fantastic, and team rushed for over 200 yds. (realize 66yds was a single play) Put 35 points on the board....and still lost.
Defense, so highly spoken of this season, was bad...really bad. Very little pass rush and the DB's were toast. Tago threw for 419 yds...seriously? Allen's claim to fame is defense.....
Each week, seems like the same old, same old. A side of the ball decides to take a crap...and there is always, and I mean always an excuse.
Its Power 5 football....fix it or get blasted. No one cares about excuses.
Lol

I’m of the belief that Indiana was the same last year as they are this year. No significant fall off in my eyes.QB problems, a few linemen hurt during season, not a very good running attack, a few defensive back injuries. The difference isn’t in Indiana , it’s the competition that has changed significantly from last year.
This ,with the fact that while Allen has been working to improve the quality of recruits, they do not get four and five star recruits not un like Purdue. This is critical for The Hoosiers to keep their heads above water. A little peak last year a little valley this year. But let’s let the year play out and hopefully it doesn’t just kill recruiting. -
All the way around you can see the lack of depth for this program, and has been this way for the last 3or 4 coaching changes. Before Wilson.
They can and usually do stay with the good teams for 2 to 3 quarters then boom, they get wore down.
This year they haven’t been quite as strong, but then again the strength of schedule is crazy.
I’m glad Allen got a big contract, the last thing the program needs is a new head coach.
Onto the next game. -

Memorial will have to play their best game. That still may not be enough.
