The statement lost all credibility at "HALF the liquor...."
Well in all fairness I heard it was half the Old Crow was left. Rest assured if Makers Mark all gone.

Oh, we're keeping an eye out for them. Last time they visited, the silverware was missing and half the liquor had been drunk when they left. 😁
Thats my BOYS! Go Miners!

I think thats a pretty FAIR assessment in 2A. Thanks for keeping your eyes out for my Linton Miners

You might not want to overlook Western Boones. I swear to God you shouldn’t
Oh I gotcha there! Its a Long road. Webo and a few other teams in the South are chomping at the bits. That Cass- Pioneer game really blew my mind though.

Whichever Victor comes outta this. I see a Lewis-Cass matchup

I ran this match up on Calpreps a few days ago and it had MD as a slight favorite. Now, Harrell picks the Miners as well. MD will have its hands full, no doubt.
Hopefully its a Great game! Don't wanna see a blow out either way. Fingers crossed.

I’ll take MD and the points! Should be a great game.
If I was a betting man I think you would have to. Never know till Friday night. One score games are hard to pick. Go Miners!

That's just insane. Yesterday's Sags had Mater Dei 4+ points better than Linton in the ratings plus the 1.45 for home field. So I rounded it up to 7 points. I see now that Harrell has it 28 - 24 for the Miners...….as if Mater Dei needs any motivation. LOL But the Sags have changed this morning. I still say there is no way MD is the underdog no matter what the numbers say. Looking forward to a great ball game. No matter what, the winner is going to earn it.
Calpreps has Linton 26-22

The biggest reason MD does not host games at their field is little to no parking in the vicinity. There are barely enough spaces for 500+ kids, teachers and staff on a daily basis. There would be no way to accommodate 5,000 fans, which is not out of the question for MD home games against a quality opponent. However, even if you built a stadium, it would pale in comparison to the Bowl. btw - as tax payers, we don't have to "borrow" the bowl, we pay for it already.
I agree 1000%

One thing that no one has talked about (during the season) is North Knox's defense. They only gave up `12 points per game average and the most they have given up in one game this year is 28. They also have 3 shutouts. I know people have talked on here about their offense, but their defense has played pretty well also. If they end up hosting the sectional title game, they could be a tough out on their field.
Im glad to see the gang at Bicknell doing well this year! Dont know if it would be real pretty if Mater Dei or Linton showed up though.

Lotta hurdles yet to clear though. North Posey first

I felt the same way. It was a rock solid first half! I thought to myself at halftime: "I hope this is an indication they are tournament ready". Playing bigger teams (size wise) is no new thing for the Miners. It seems like most weeks they have been smaller than the opponent. At the beginning of the season I predicted the Miners would go 7 - 2. They did me one better. It's been a great season. Looking forward to an even greater tournament!
Yep pretty impressive. I was thinking this morning about those Lil Rascals outta Linton-Stockton! They just won't go away! LOL. Cal Preps as em at #4 in 2A

No but Andrean plays the likes of Merrillville, New Prairie, Hobart and Lowell.
Luers even at 2-7 plays the likes of Dwenger, Snider, Carroll and Homestead.
Pioneer will be ready im sure.
Prob with Lewis Cass and Pioneer is a First round BRUTAL game. I pray the Winner actually the Loser too don't face injuries. If so it would change the 2A Tournament drastically. Both teams are on the Mountain Top of 2A football right now

New Pal and it's on campus football factory have severely damaged the competitive balance in the Hoosier Heritage Conference
New Pal clearly does not share the same philosophy towards football as does the other 7 schools In the conference. The results of the past several seasons are clear indication of this fact
If the Dragons will not leave on their own to pursue a better competitive fit, the HHC should ask them to do so, and in a hurry. The current situation is unhealthy for both sides.
And if they so NO! Then What? Linton was like that for many years in the SW7. Linton left SW7 never asked them to. Doesn't New Pal have Charlie? I believe he graduate soon. Lets see what happens to New Pal?

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this thread to get going. It's been dead on here for most of the game topics this year. Several posters who used to talk haven't been on this year and those who are still on here haven't said much, if anything at all. Considering the Miners have had a really good year, it's been kind of a bummer. We used to get over 100 posts or more on most Miner game topics. These days it's mostly crickets.
Have you every considered the respect for Miner Football after we Won the State Championship? No longer a need to play petty arguments about this an that. Thats where al the posts came from. Miner Football is STRONG and the whole State knows it. I as a Miner Alumni have no reason to engage in crap. We Play We Win. We Play We lose. Dont need much board talk other than Miner Prides weekly report s a Blessing. That should be all we need NON COACHES!

So without Luck how do you get to the right place and time? This baffles me. Id really like hear more. Is it preordained? Feel free to message me on this. How do you do missions that you encountered hostile fire on and survive? Its the Luck at that time. I guess one could say its a training issue, capability issue or otherwise. Luck of the Drawl is a BIG deal in Aviation as well as life to me
