Mr. Mattix was @ West Central from 1975-1978 where he was football and wrestling coach along with being a teacher of science, P.E. and Driver's Ed, then came back in the early 80's for a 1 year stint as AD. Got this off of the alumi page for West Central.

A big shout out to Michigan City for being great hosts. Everyone was very nice and hospitable. My 1st trip inside the gates of Ames Field and this became one of my favorite places to take in a football game. I loved the old school feel with the new amenities and the lack of a track which allows you to sit right on top of the action. I been to a couple other facilities that are set up like this and I think more stadiums need to be this way. I know the score wasn't what you wanted it to be, but congrats to the Wolves on a great season and on your Sectional and Regional championships.

Have a couple questions if I may: Does everyone park on the Southside of the stadium or is that just for Michigan City fans and the same goes for entry into the stadium, all on Southside or does Zionsville fans entry on Northside. Thanks for the help, been by the stadium numerous times, just never inside. Coming up to watch a cousin play for Zionsville.
