I think Memorial ought to be rooting for Boonville to bet Reitz so we get to host the final at Enlow.
Boonville is a 21 point favorite on Sagarin, lol.

In other news Sagarin hates the SIAC, especially Vincennes. (I know, closed conference.)
-
Historically I've always noticed that SW Indiana teams tend to be undervalued during the regular season on Sagarin and move up as a whole during the playoffs. This year the opposite appears to be true.

GS might cover 5 TDs if HH doesn't pass, continues with turnovers, and misses coverages... Second meeting is historically closer in recent years. Still, you have to strap it up and play...
But HH is the 12 best team in the state...

Closed conference, no way to compute that relative to the connected data...
Sagarin seems to be out of whack at this point in the year (ignoring the SIAC being a closed confernece). Does anyone actually believe HH has played a tougher schedule then GS? I'll take GS to cover (5 points).

Can anyone explain what the penalty was against MD to start the second half?

Decision going to be made here whether or not to have a game tonight....4 people on foot being chased by the cops. Everyone was sent home last night--cleared football stadium (7th grade game) out in about 10 minutes. School was called off today because they still haven't been caught. Phone call said they would decide about homecoming game today by 1:00.
Geez, is this like a daily thing when you live in Chicago or is it business as usual?
Any word on why they are being chased? Any news links?

Everyone is ignoring the obvious culprits.
1. The P/P's
2. The success factor multiplier.

What happens in the following scenario.
Offense gets set. A man goes in motion and is moving towards the LOS at the snap. A flag is thrown at the snap. The ball is handed off to the RB for a twenty yard gain.
My question is when should the official blow the whistle?

Is there a reason I might not be thinking of that the SIAC wanted a two team package other than ease of scheduling?
Let's not forget the SIAC almost added four schools which likely would have resulted in a format similar to what the PAC is currently using.

Regarding the OP Boonville is in a good place for them.
My preferred conference alignment for sw indiana (football only) would have multiple divisions with promotion/relegation to maximize competitive scheduling. The SIAC and PAC combined have 22 football playing schools. Getting to 24 schools would neatly create four divisions of six. The four divisions would all play their five division games in weeks 5-9. Weeks 1-4 would allow for cross division games to fill out the schedules. Theoretically that type of arrangement would result in the best six teams in the same division and the worst six teams in the same division.
I have no reasonable expectation of anything like that ever happening.

For football I would think one addition might have been nice.
Adding one would have been worse then adding zero. Try finding good non conference games after week 5.

To those that think the election was stolen...at least watch the intro.

Do Southridge fans actually want to win this game? If they do it means they are stuck in 3a another year and ruins the argument that they belong in 2a. Schools that win 3a regional probably don't belong in 2a.

So you telling us here on the GID that you have never ever violated a federal, state, or local statute of any kind?
Yes.

Because I prefer successful states to failed states.

Hmm. I find this hard to believe. Do you live in your mom's basement and never leave?
Please, educate yourself on one of the primary goals behind government education. And no, I have no desire to teach children to love the state. Do you have such a desire?
No.
I haven't thought about it before. Sounds like it might be a good idea.

Agreed. Spot on commentary from Mr. Dvorak.
I'm confused why you think this matters.

Yes, punish the children by incarcerating them for being late for a Zoom class. That will teach them to respect and love the state.
Have you ever broken a law, Alduflux?
Of course not.
I don't recall anyone saying anything about teaching kids to love the state. Is that a desire of yours?

No, not really. Do you?
The links you cite and quotes you choose to bold along with your opinion on packing the court are inconsistent with a person that doesn't care which party picks the SCOTUS.
Yes I care.

I don't even know what you're talking about or if you did anything wrong. Thumbs up for apologizing. You should be president.

To Muda: Do you have a preference on which party (Republican or Democrat) nominates and confirms court pics?

...and he wasn't late for a zoom meeting. He had three unexcused absences from school.

Who are you, or the state for that matter, to make the determination that a parent is overreacting when their child is threatened with incarceration for being late to Zoom meeting?
We are a nation of laws written by our elected representatives. Law breakers should be punished.
The state didn't say the parent overreacted. I did because he is.

The draw is the reason they are a heavy favorite. All the good teams not named Memorial are in the bottom half of the bracket. JH says the bottom half of the bracket has a 54% chance of winning sectional.
