Anyone able to do wk 6?
Unfortunately I'm unavailable to start the topic this week and possibly week 8 and 9 as well.

Sounds expensive, and yet another electronic doodad prone to breakage.
If you want to stay at the top, you have to be willing to invest in the latest technology for the game of football. Whether it be digital down markers, endzone cameras, or hydration stations, times and technology change for the better.

Fort Wayne, Bishop Dwenger does. In fact, they have two of these lighted digital line of scrimmage down markers; I.E., the one that's official on the side of the field opposite the press box, and also another on the home side of the field; like many of the colleges, and all of the pro games use.
Wow! Bishop Dwenger has taken the game to another level. 2 (!) digital down markers! Great job Saints!!

How many high schools in Indiana have upgraded to digital down markers?
In the Wabash River Conference, North Vermillion has one. When I watched a game at NV the digital down marker made it much easier to see what down it was.

I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet, but with a win against Eastern on Friday, Brian Moore will reach 200 wins for his career.
In Pamplona, Spain, people may be running from the bulls, but the bulls are running from Brian Moore.

Would HOF coach Brian Moore ever order a whole pizza for himself?
Possibly. If he did he would season it with pepper spray.

LCC outscored Attica 50-7 in the 2nd halv of that game. Something was burned alright, not sure it was the barn.
IT WAS AN HISTORIC COMEBACK, FURTHER PROVING THE ELITE STATUS OF THE ATTICA PROGRAM.

You should try the folume knob
That turned out to be the problem!
So what is your favorite endzone camera?

Sounds like a problem with YouTube, or your system. I was able to play the clip with audio at my home location.
I should've checked the volume on my computer first! Problem solved, thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the help, but I still don't have any audio with the clip.

How is Attica one of the best teams??? Are you going off of the record alone? Did you look at who they beat to get to 3-1? I have to disagree that Attica is one of the best teams in class A, I believe they are the fortunate to have had a soft early schedule just as the Wolves have. Again if PH ends up running the table I will be happy they did (I don't see it happening) but to say they are Elite because they beat Attica is a big stretch.
In 2016 Attica lost to LCC 56-29. It was a barn burner until late in the game. Any team that can do that is one of the best teams in class A.

If you want to call them tops in the WRC because they have not been beaten yet, that's one thing but for you to blindly compare and claim ELITE status of the athletes of PH to those of other schools you have not played yet that is foolish. I will say it one more time I AM a fan of the WOLVES, but to claim they are elite at this point makes no sense at all. Maybe you should wait until they have beaten some better competition before you make the claims that they are ELITE. I also get that you want reaction by your posts, and when I am bored and have time I will reply. Why do I reply? Its simple the logical person in me responds to the posts of mere personal opinion when being passed off as truth.
Ok, you have a logical opinion, but the Wolfs already beat Attica. Attica is one of the best teams in class A. Even though the game wasn't a blow-out, it was still 26-6. And the Wolfs played really sloppy, so it should've been much worse.

I can't hear the video. Is there a copy with sound included?
-
I'm sorry if I'm making people depressed. Maybe the Wolfs aren't as good as I thought they were. Maybe they can't beat Linton, but they're still tops in the WRC and in class A. If you have seen the collection of athletes that they put on the field you would agree with me. And then on top of it they have a hall of fame head coach in Brian Moore. Why wouldn't I think they're elite?

It’s not a shootout If they run the ball and control the clock
I think the Miners would score too fast to control the clock. Then the Wolfs get the ball back and score in 2-3 plays with their athletes. The Wolfs end up scoring more though. I could see it ending up like 63-49 with the final score in favor of the Wolfs.

Linton would run PH off of the field
No I don't think so. I don't mean it as a slap in the face to Linton because they are a really good team, but Parke Heritage is elite. I can't imagine Linton has the athletes that Parke Heritage does. I think the Wolfs would outscore the Miners in a shoot out.

My opinion but you should be tested for mental incompetence. No one with any kind of sanity would say PH is better then Linton. PH is varley better then Attica. One day you will understand you have no clue what your talking about!
Sir, my mental competence is fine. It is a fact that the Parke Heritage Wolfs are better than the Linton Miners. In fact, I would venture to say that the Wolfs are the best team in the entire Wabash Valley. The Wolfs would beat the Terre Haute schools, but it would probably be a good game in both cases. I just don't see any other school around being able to match up with the stud athletes of the Wolfs or the hall of fame coaching of Brian Moore.
Brian Moore and Chuck Norris once had a staring contest. Brian Moore won and Chuck Norris went cross-eyed for three weeks.

PH will beat SV MUCH worse than NV beat them...any takers on that?
I see this as a 50-14 type of score in favor of the Wolfs. I think the SV offense is good enough to score a couple of early touchdowns, but the Juggernaut offense of the Wolfs won't be slowed down now that SV is without their best player. I still can't believe Shew had his knee blown out because of a blatant cheap shot.
I think the Wolfs are a better team than Linton which means Attica is also really good. Was the WRC championship decided Friday night in the game between the Wolfs and the River Ewes? That may be the case.

Thank you sir. Your appreciation for my love of Herb King is recognized and acknowledged. He's a great ball coach!

Updated WRC power rankings:
1. Parke Heritage Wolfs
After Friday night there is no disputing who the best team in the WRC is. Had the Wolfs not played so sloppy, the score would've been much worse. Rest assured though that Brian Moore will get it cleaned up. My neighbor told me that the living legend was fired up with the way the Wolfs ran the ball!
2. Attica Red Ramblers
Even though they didn't win, the River Ewes were a thorn in the side of the Wolfs all night. They proved all they needed to prove to move to second spot in the power rankings.
3. North Vermillion Falcons
It was a tough loss for the Falcons but I heard it was actually a pretty good game. It was hard to pick between Attica and North Vermillion, so I gave the Falcons the third spot because Parke Heritage is better than Linton, and Attica played a pretty good game.
4. South Vermillion Wildcats
Barrett's boys sit at 3-1 for the first time since 2017. Their improvement is undeniable. Thats-u one-u spicy meat-u-ball!!
5. Seeger Patriots
HERB FREAKIN KING!!!!!!!! If Herb had been on Game of Thrones he would've won the whole dang thing!!!
6. Covington Trojans
I've been saying all along that the Men of Troy were going to wreck some teams later in their schedule. The reckoning is coming!
7. Fountain Central Mustangs
Dale Hummer, or Brian Moore or Rick Malone would struggle with this group. It's not the kids fault or the coaches. It just is what it is. Small schools go through cycles. The Mustangs will be back!
8. Riverton Parke Panthers
I hope the shenanigans are done in Panther land. I would hate to have to keep them at the eighth spot all season long.

Did you swim a river or become a booster?
Yes and not yet. I swam from Lafayette to Terre Haute, but I couldn't finish the rest. I hope that's good enough.
If you tell me where to send it, you will receive my contribution in the mail. If you would like, I can send it to Rensselaer Central.

WOW!!! It's hard to believe that we are halfway through the season!! We learned a lot about the WRC last week! Updated power rankings will be released today. Now on to the games!
Covington @ Seeger
South Vermillion @ Sullivan
Riverton Parke @ North Vermillion
Attica @ Fountain Central
Parke Heritage @ Eastern Greene

My son showed me the dirty hit this morning on SHEW** from south Vermillion. Unbelievable is all I have to say.
I had heard it was beyond a cheap shot. The fact that it happens multiple times is pretty fishy.
Digital Down Markers
in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Posted
I've been told that the LED display of a digital down marker makes it possible for people who are color blind to be able to see it. Do you have something against people with disabilities?
Also don't be ridiculous. Robots have no place at a high school football game. They could go rogue and destroy everyone in attendance. You know that's how the human race will end, right? Death by robot revolution.
