  1. I try not to whine about it, but I just feel bad for high school football programs that don't have a quality Endzone camera to use. As an example, Evansville Day school has never won a single football game in the history of their program. They also don't have an Endzone camera. Coincidence? Me thinks not.

I decided to go with an old cell phone, some pvc tubing, and duct tape. Coach Nowlin said it worked great for his Bombers.

Well good luck if you need to check your gutters on a rainy day. One of the best features of the Hi-Pod X31 is that it's outfitted with premium rain gear. Regardless, I hope you're satisfied with your rig.

How can anyone pick against the juggernaut Wolfs?  They have a D-1 QB and a lot of weapons to throw to!

It will be interesting to see if White can overcome the small school bias that college coaches have at times. He is a quality player even if it's small school football. The Wolfs have once again reached a level of being unbeatable. I believe they will win the state championship.

Anyone know of a good endzone camera. I want to set one up in my yard to check my gutters for leaf build up. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

Really, it depends on how much money you are willing to spend and how high you need the video camera to reach.

Sportscope offers a 30 foot model for $4,299

Sideline Power has an HD model that extends to 20 feet and also has a 19 inch high definition monitor for $6,450

My personal suggestion though would be the Hi-Pod X31. 31 foot telescoping tower, High definition monitor, and premium rain gear for those not so sunny days. It is a steal at $4,999.

What?? How many pictures do these cameras take?

Oh, it's a video camera, like what you would use to film from the press box, but instead it attaches to the top of a telescoping tower. You extend the tower up and it gives a bird's eye view from the endzone perspective. There's a company in California called Hi-Pod that makes a great endzone camera model called the X31. Imagine 31 feet of extension!

Write that down if you need to.

Coach, there has been an amazing, game changing invention that has come to our game since you last patrolled the side lines and team meals. We now have cameras that are attached to the top of an extendable tower that can be placed behind the endzone. This endzone camera has completely revolutionized the way that film is viewed and used as a teaching tool. It's probably the biggest technology breakthrough since the invention of headphones.

Well lets see if LaVille has learned anything in regular season that may help them in Playoffs.   The OC better get a game plan together (always seems confused on what he wants to call- hopefully he is better prepared in his daily job in the classroom) and be consistent in his play calling or its gonna be short lived!  Players will play, and the OC needs to allow them to play.  Havent seen any improvement on that side of the ball...wait..maybe the line has improved??  Not sure on that either!!

Defensively Coach H. has them playing really well and I think him keeping it basic and rotating the D line - and playing the right kids in situations like he has is paying off.

Wabash will be ready for sure!  I hope the part of the Lancers that has struggled (OFFENSE) ALL year can finally get something going.

    Live to play another week

Does the coaching staff at LaVille have an endzone camera to utilize for reviewing film and teaching players?

Sir, with you being a "Football Guru", have you volunteered your services to fix the offense? I'm sure you have all of the answers needed to light up the score board.

    Via Facebook and max preps

Noble Johnson leads the entire state in all classes as a sophomore in receiving yards and he doesn’t get to play much in any second half besides NV, ATTICA, and SV. Will be interesting to see how him and his brother can connect the next 2 seasons

Logan White is second in passing yards in all classes as he is following West Lafayette's QB. White has played 8 games to WL QB has played 9.

Kirkpatrick, Ellis, Reynolds are putting up some impressive numbers as well.

If PH or NV can pull off an upset vs Lutheran in the regional(I expect one or 2 of those teams to win it) I pick one of those 2 teams to win the state title. Once again WRC will be on top!

What would happen to the falcons If they make a long run? I’m not sure how the points system works.

Noble Johnson is a nice consistent target for Logan White to throw to. He would definitely be a go to target in key situations.

  10. So a while back I was attending my child's Christmas concert at the local church. I felt my intestines rumbling with the dawning of a new fart. Since it was my first fart of the evening, I thought I would be safe to slide that one out, because my opening fart rarely smells. Imagine my horror when I caught the first whiff of what was easily the most potent, acrid flatus in my long career of breaking wind. I tried to act normal, hoping people would not know it was me that was responsible for the noxious cloud overtaking the sanctuary, but then my wife and another of my children started staring at me accusingly. They knew immediately that it was me. I was doomed. The worst part was that the pew I was sitting on had a thin layer of foam padding on top of the wooden base. Every time I shifted, more of the horrible smell would waft up out of the foam, adding to the volume of odor. Oh, how it lingered and lingered. I saw people in the pews in front of me looking at each other with a mixture of horror and utter disgust etched on their faces. They were trapped and they knew they had no reprieve from the wrath of my colon. Confessing to you all anonymously helps me deal with the weight of the guilt that I live with every day. Thank you.
