It would be nice if the IHSAA would invest in some endzone cameras for their streaming of the state finals. Some of us prefer that view to the traditional sideline shot.

Does anyone have any endzone camera view highlights of Mr. Spegal that I could view?

Which of those have the better end zone cameras? Certain to be a factor in the decision.
A coach with Kevin Wright's clout would get a guarantee of a new Hi-Pod X31 to be purchased upon signing the contract.

Looks like he got a pretty good gig...LOL.

I think IU is his backup plan if he can't land the Bosse or Harrison job.

The name I keep hearing for these jobs is Kevin Wright.

Does anyone know if Bishop-Dullaghan camps use endzone cameras to film the scrimmage portion of their practices? It seems like it would be a very useful teaching tool to be able to show the kids. It would also fill some of the down time between practices.

Does Fishers have top quality endzone cameras to lure Coach Wright? Could Noblesville match what Fishers brings to the table in terms of endzone cameras?

Aren't all high school coaches given the pieces and then charged with putting them together?
Not all high school coaches get the same pieces to put together though. For example, not every coach has an endzone camera to film their games and practices. Even those who do may not have a top of the line model, like the Hi-Pod X31.
For a lot of coaches, it's like entering a cake baking contest with only half the needed ingredients.

It would be nice to have South Vermillion added back but they enjoy beating up on those 1A schools... trying to anyways. Cascade dropped and forced this change. Maybe Park Heritage can make the jump? The other option would be Monrovia..
Sir, I do not see this ever happening.

Chuck Stephens-7 state appearances in 10 years with 4 as champions (Franklin Central).
What changed at Franklin Central other than the coach?

Word around the WRC is that Mo will be returning to Fountain Central as an assistant coach. He previously was an assistant coach at FC under Dale Hummer when the Mustangs played in their first state championship game.

I'm not a big fan of the recruiting services either. Are you Vegan?

Agreed. Ball State or ISU would have been better choices if young Mr. Spegal wanted to stay in-state and have a more immediate impact on the playing field.
Which recruiting service do you work for?

Parke Heritage loses 2 all state players in Austin Petrillo and Logan white. Wolves return their top 2 receivers including all state sophomore Noble Johnson and 4 out of 5 starting lineman. Freshman Christian Johnson will be starting next year at the QB position as a sophomore and I had a hall of fame coach tell me he could be the best QB hes ever had. Especially after being behind Logan White for a year. Wolves will continue to grow but I think they are going to have another good* year
Other WRC schools:
Will attica even have a team?
North Vermillion will be tough as usual.
Covington will struggle.
Riverton Parke will be horrendous.
I have been told by a good source at the St. Bernice Tavern that Parke Heritage will be annexing Riverton Parke. Rockville taking over Turkey Run wasn't enough to put them over the top so they are looking to add another school.

But if you'll visit RCHS, @Coach Nowlin will take you by the Wagon Wheel and, if you're benching 600 and can run a 4.4 40, he'll open his own wallet and buy you a Wagon Master to entice/recruit you. I heard that @CoachDurham and the boys from South Newton heard about this and tried to pass themselves off as potential Bomber recruits. The jig was up though when @Coach Nowlin almost lost a hand when the Rebel coaches hit the Wagon Masters when they were delivered to the table.
What is a Wagon Master? I would love to know.

I think a more interesting question might be....what 5 attributes make a football coaching job one of the best in the state.
1. First and foremost, does the school already have an endzone camera? If not, are they willing to invest in one?
2. Are they willing to invest money into the football program? For instance, if you ask for an endzone camera, will they go the cheap route, or will they buy a top of the line model like a Hi-Pod X31?
3. Does the school have a digital LED down marker?
4. Does the school have a good chef for team meals?
5. What is your recruiting budget?

Correct. Sorry for the mistake. Mike Otto grew up in a farmhouse just down the road from my M-I-L in southern Miami county.

After looking at the stats some more.....I think ALL PAC needs to expand a bit to include 3 WRs. Seth delong had the 5th beat receiving year ever for a GS player (at least to what I can find). He led the PAC in receiving with 830 yards and had 11 scores to go with it.
Maybe the format isn’t inclusive enough for WRs/TEs......The kid from SR is certainly worthy and everyone knows ben butler is uber talented and deserving....but man.
if you lead the PAC in receiving and receiving touchdowns and you are only honorable mention...it just isn’t right.
maxpreps doesn’t have classes broken up correctly but I believe Seth was #5 in receiving yards this year in 3A.
im not looking to stir trouble. All players listed are very deserving. Just believe there should be more WRs to be ALL PAC 1st team
The receivers that were picked were better than him at blocking for the run game. That's the only thing that I can think of lol

I think the teams to keep an eye on are Carmel, New Palestine, Evansville Memorial, Chatard, Western Boone, and Lafayette Central Catholic.

People with Down Syndrome are some of the sweetest, most loving souls on the planet. I've seen kids do some pretty stupid things, but this situation is beyond a kid making a dumb mistake. This needs to be dealt with through the legal system.

Private school matchup in the 1A State Finals🙄
I’ve had the chance to see both teams in action. LCC is the more disciplined team, but Lutheran is much more athletic. Lutheran is the #1 team for a reason.
Lutheran 45-24
Is it "POPsicle" or "POOPsicle"? Because the name from the show is definitely "POOPsicle".
