To go along with the recruiting talk, I guess GS is recruiting in the playoffs...that Deyoung kid is a good late season pick up. I mean, he is good enough to sit Delong on the bench.

And that is a wrap! Congrats to GS on a solid win. And that is 3 PAC teams in the semi state! Looking forward to next Friday in the Jungle!

Congrats to Heritage Hills on a Regional--#9 I believe. Also, congrats to Batesville on a great season. This was a game that didn't disappoint. Batesville is an excellent team. Line play was some of the best we have seen and that QB is an absolute menace. Batesville were great hosts, provided a great environment and obviously has great fans and support from the community. Thankful for a field goal kicker that can perform under pressure. By the way, that facility has changed a tad in the last 20 years--very nice!

Let's get the party started. What is the visitor stand situation at Batesville? Looks worse than Scottsburg, which was bad. This should be a slobberknocker. Yeah, I noticed that from the Google Maps overhead. Is the visitor side at least elevated so that we can see? I know it is an impossible question to answer but I wonder if they will have fans there....maybe we end up in home stands....LOL. We have been to plenty of places where we have more than twice as many fans as the home crowd.

Scottsburg Head Coach, Kyle Mullins, has led the Warriors program to a 32-53 record in the past nine seasons, since the football program's initial season in 2015. The only common opponent this season between the Warriors and the Patriots is the Charlestown Pirates. Scottsburg lost to Charlestown 65-7 in week 6 this season, while the Patriots beat Charlestown in week 10 by a score of 51-14. Our Patriots are averaging 40.4 ppg on offense and are giving up only 11.1 ppg on defense, while the Warriors are averaging 27.7 ppg on offense and are allowing 20.9 ppg. Your boys certainly have nothing to hang their head about, they played hard and there wasn't anyone sitting around me that wasn't nervous.

It seems that when these 2 play things can go sideways for both teams. A total of 8 turnovers by these 2 teams. Was one of the sloppiest games....controversial calls on both sides. Just another Heritage Hills/Southridge game--pretty standard really. 23-20 Patriots....now on to Scottsburg for the final.
