To go along with the recruiting talk, I guess GS is recruiting in the playoffs...that Deyoung kid is a good late season pick up.
I mean, he is good enough to sit Delong on the bench.

And that is a wrap! Congrats to GS on a solid win.
And that is 3 PAC teams in the semi state!
Looking forward to next Friday in the Jungle!

Congrats to Heritage Hills on a Regional--#9 I believe.
Also, congrats to Batesville on a great season. This was a game that didn't disappoint. Batesville is an excellent team. Line play was some of the best we have seen and that QB is an absolute menace. Batesville were great hosts, provided a great environment and obviously has great fans and support from the community.
Thankful for a field goal kicker that can perform under pressure.
By the way, that facility has changed a tad in the last 20 years--very nice!

This sectional/regional alignment does not make sense to me. Why have, if it works out this way, Heritage Hills meet Gibson Southern in Semi-State? They could flip Sectional 30 and 31 and it would make more sense, in my opinion at least.
Why would the IHSAA do anything that was logical?

Roger that. I thought that was an elevated press box, I didn't realize those were covered stands. Very nice.

Let's get the party started.
What is the visitor stand situation at Batesville? Looks worse than Scottsburg, which was bad.
This should be a slobberknocker.
For what it's worth (which is nothing and means nothing):

Really T32? You know what I'm talking about....I meant more along the lines of when we show up to a place like Tell City. And at this particular GS game we had just as many standing as was in the stands. Your "meager" stands are better than most

FWIW to you HH fans.... there are basically ZERO away stands. Bring your lawn chair.
Yeah, I noticed that from the Google Maps overhead. Is the visitor side at least elevated so that we can see? I know it is an impossible question to answer but I wonder if they will have fans there....maybe we end up in home stands....LOL. We have been to plenty of places where we have more than twice as many fans as the home crowd.

Do any of you HH folks ever hear from the great statistician Dave Mosbey?
Haven't seen him on the GID in some time.
Yup, Dave is all good. See him all the time. He is lurking.....

Congrats to the Pats. Good team- really good defense.
Your boys certainly have nothing to hang their head about, they played hard and there wasn't anyone sitting around me that wasn't nervous.

It seems that when these 2 play things can go sideways for both teams. A total of 8 turnovers by these 2 teams. Was one of the sloppiest games....controversial calls on both sides.
Just another Heritage Hills/Southridge game--pretty standard really.
23-20 Patriots....now on to Scottsburg for the final.
