  1. I guess I am thinking more in terms of travel distance for them. The conference they are joining is a tough football conference as well.
  2. There is a reason for splitting up into big and small divisions and no cross-over games. Schools like BC and apparently Tipton this year are getting beat like drums against the larger conference schools. It would be nice to add a couple more 2A schools to the mix in the smaller division, that is why Delphi would make sense but not sure they would come back into the conference which they just left fairly recently. Frankfort would be another to the big school division but they are currently in the process of joining another conference.
  3. Add Delphi and North Montgomery to the smaller division and you have a nice big/small conference there.
  4. With Northwestern set to leave after this season, and Logansport set to join, is there going to be split divisions again or are there other plans to restructure for football? Here’s what the class and enrollment numbers will look like. 4A Logansport - 1252 3A Western - 840 3A West Lafayette - 754 3A Hamilton Heights - 731 3A Twin Lakes - 655 ———————————————- 3A Rensselaer - 521 2A Benton Central - 508 2A Tipton - 454 2A LCC - 296 Maybe split it up big and small. Rensselaer is borderline on dropping to 2A and BC’s enrollment keeps dropping, might be time to go big/small divisions??
  5. Not sure about LaVille and Triton...LaVille returns some quality players but they only return one OL, lose 85% of their offensive scoring in Dewitt and Smith. Having LaVille in week one might be beneficial for Bremen. Don't get me wrong, LaVille will be a tough game for anyone, they just will have a lot of kids contributing for the first time at a lot of position at the varsity level. They will get better as the year progresses for sure. As for Triton, they will not being playing with one of the states leading rushers in Schue. He decided to not play.
  6. LaVille 34, Winamac 0 at halftime Anything from Triton/Bremen or Judson/Knox?
  7. LaVille 27, Winamac 0 - 4:00 left in 2nd
  8. Another shocker, Glenn beats St Joe 8-3! Big win for the Falcons!
  9. Knox keeps it rolling. What does Culver have this year?
  10. LaVille 47, Pioneer 8 - 3:00 left in game.
  11. Lancers 40, Pioneer 8 - End of 3rd
  12. I really think Triton could finish 2nd in the conference if they stay healthy and improve that passing game.
  13. Lancers march down, Plummer hit another fg from 35 yards out to make the score 33-8 at halftime. Any other HNAC scores??
  14. Whelp the running clock may need to wait a bit, Pioneer uses the pass to march done and punch it in. 30-8 w/:41 left in 2nd
  15. LaVille keeps it rolling 30-0 w/6:23 left until halftime.
  16. 22-0 Lancers 9:49 left in 2nd…cough, cough
  17. Ah, 17-0 now, 4:33 left in 1st
  18. LaVille 10, Pioneer 0. 5 left in 1st
  19. What makes you think Pioneer even has a chance to play with LaVille, let alone actually beat them? After last years beat down in the sectional final, those Pioneer boys don’t want any part of the Lancers.
  20. Culver 8 at Knox 38 LaVille 42 at Pioneer 8 North Newton 0 at North Judson-San Pierre 42 North White 28 at Winamac 14 Triton 54 at Caston 6
  21. It also depends on the type of break. If it’s a fracture, he might be back 6-8 weeks, but if it is broken all the way through, may need surgery and done for the year. I’ve seen both scenarios.
  22. Laville vs Triton - Laville 42-7 NJP vs Caston - NJ 49-0 Rochester vs Knox - Knox 18-14 South Central vs Culver -Culver 28-21 Winamac vs Pioneer - Pioneer 28-14
  23. Revised HNAC Projected Standings after Week 1 LaVille North Judson Triton Knox Pioneer Winamac Culver Caston
