  1. Division II football can offer 36 equivalency scholarships. Equivalency scholarships can be shared by more than one player. For example, one player gets 25% and another gets 75%.
  2. All FBS scholarships are full ride. FCS has 63 equivalency scholarships that can be divided among 85 players.
  3. LOL . . . then you should have posted that. Because that's what I posted. 🙄
  4. not that I’m aware of, he will be an early enrollee
  5. Interestingly enough, in 2018 Indiana only had three 4 star football players. Also three in 2017. 2016 had four. Seems like 2019 was the outlier. LOL you posted the list THREE HOURS AGO. They have not updated it since. You posted an old list. Just admit it.
  6. So the facts you posted have been shown to be wrong. This must upset you. Clearly this was a down year in 6A. But again, you are posting 2019's final rankings with 2020's that are not complete. Not a fair assessment at this point. And that somehow makes me a homer?
  7. also, you are comparing the final rankings of 2019 (which had 62 revisions) to 2020, which to date, is at 49, and has not even reached the early signing date.
  8. merely disputing your claim that Indiana only has only one 4 star football player. As usual, your research and facts are not accurate.
  9. https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/CompositeRecruitRankings/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&State=IN you know, if you want people to click on your links, you really should click on theirs as well. 247 has been all over the place this year, as evidenced by Hartwig listed twice in both lists. You are posting the old list where Fryar is listed as #1 recruit in IN as a 4 star. Most recent list has Brevard as #1 and Craig as #2. Both as four stars as well.
  10. huh??? Just pointing out that 247 lists three different kids as four stars. You said there was only one?
  11. https://247sports.com/Season/2020-Football/CompositeRecruitRankings/?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool&State=IN I see two 4 stars. And in your link, Fryar is listed as a 4 star as well. So that's three. Maybe not as down as you say.
  12. Out of curiosity, how many times have you seen him play in person? Or how many complete coaching films have you watched?
  13. Kiser was recruited as a LB, so that should not be a surprise. And Spegal dabbled at LB and DL at Delta and NP as well as playing special teams.
  14. Don’t spread a rumor when you don’t know the facts.
  15. Derrick Ransom and Ray Jackson. I went to HS with both at Lawrence Central
  16. Those numbers will never be broken as long as there is a Mercy Rule.
  17. after the trophy presentation and team pic, NP came to the sideline and sang the fight song. And we were able to take pics. That did not happen last year after the 5A game on Saturday night.
  18. I'll be honest. It depends how long you are willing to fight the IHSAA and how good your lawyer is. And if you sent any stupid text messages that prove you transferred for athletic reasons.
  19. I thought Gordon went to court and he ended up eligible and did not miss any games?
  20. Who are we talking about? LOL I'd like to see high school and college go to a one time transfer allowance. After that, the rules would be extremely difficult to transfer without sitting out a year.
  21. I know of an HHC kid that did just that. Moved after freshman year. Went private. He played with little IHSAA difficulty.
  22. Obviously transferring/enrolling before HS career begins is treated differently. Don't really have an issue with that. Moving is the single most important thing you have to do. Moving and then going private is doable. You may have to go through some red tape, but it's been done many, many, many times. What I don't get is a kid that has played for 3 or even 4 HS in his career. Come on man.
  23. I grew up 3 mins down the road from Cathedral and went to Lawrence Central, so I may be biased. Hah! I do think when you can control your student population . . . there is a inherent advantage.
