Paoli- at home with all those returners. Time to beat boonville. Pekin- I like this group of seniors for Pekin especially RB/LB Brayden Jones. Good talent. If they don't this year it may be a few more. Edgewood- Don't enough about Mitchell. Springs Valley- closest game valley had all last year. Replacing QB, 1 WR, 2 RBs, but return plenty of guys with experience. I'll take Blackhawks in another close one. Feels it could go either way Tell City- I think Perry will be alright but I hear alot about the twins at Tell City. They have 4 out of last 5 Brownstown- They break in the new turf by rubbing their faces in it. Salem- this will be my upset. Salem got better as season went on and played a ton of young guys. Someone wins their turf opening Scottsburg- I don't know much about either so I'll take the MSC Charlestown- again don't know much so I'll pick the pirates to win 3 in row in the series Bonus Evansville North- I like Joey Paridaen.....thats all. Is Perry doing anything different this year? I know new coach is from within but didn't know if he changed your scheme or anything

Just got back from scrimmage at WW. WW did ok on offense. Moved the ball but stalled out in RZ. New QB Gavin Hunt looked pretty good. Freshman RB Xander McPheeters got alot of work. Not sure if that's the plan or just keeping Jamesdon Collier fresh. Line was reshuffled quite a bit from last year. Defensively they struggled against NH power. Had 35 dressed if I counted correctly so about 10 less then last year. Although the JH is around 50 so may be last year for that. 4 seniors....2 played significant time last couple years and 2 others are trying to get starting roles but will be pushed by younger guys. All in all was ok. Young team in a new offense (full triple option style flexbone) so I imagine it'll be a struggle at times. How was everyone else's scrimmages?

Hows summers going? Not much to report around here. WW hasn't had any competition days that I know of. Valley went to Washington but I couldn't go and the Forest Park scrimmage was cancelled. Got 1 more month!

Well guess they won't announce but it's been approved at school for a bit now. Mitchell baseball coach Jerry Chaney is the new AD. Joins former Bluejacket/Senator football coach Troy Pritchett who is new high school principal. North Daviees baseball coach Joe Wilson will be the new Springs Valley assistant principal. Lot of baseball guys in the building!

Springs Valley has their new AD. Waiting for an official announcement to post on here. Previous AD took AD job at NE Dubois.

Providence will have Christian Academy (Tenn) coming to town in week 1. Crazy seeing a team West Washington used to play now on schedule of Heritage Hills.

First off my dumb mobile using self just realized I could scroll right and see more. Haha. So here are my thoughts and scenarios regarding MSC/PLAC 1) Will Perry Central ever go to the Pocket? Seems like closer for them and would be fine in small school side. I feel like if they did PLAC could maybe add some of the Southwest schools. Eastern Greene, North Daviess, North Knox all currently play PLAC. If they allowed Crawford to go independent (like they tried a few years prior) the drives wouldn't be much different they are already making. 2) Do Silver Creek and/or Charlestown ever outgrow the MSC? Charlestown recently moved to 4A while Salem and Brownstown recently dropped from 3 to 2. Feels like that conference at times is getting really spread out. 3) Could Clarksville join PLAC? They play WW, Perry, and Crawford. Not sure they really add much but being a former MSC team they fit in nicely. All of this is just strictly football talk. Our conferences haven't changed in like 30 years outside teams adding football. Just all in fun.

Back on page 1 @btownqbcoach1said it was Tell City this year then Clarksville next. Who knows. We will see.

Depends on who and travel time. New sectional is longer drive. I work till 5:30 so making it to knightstown probably ain't happening. Haha. I like seeing different teams and different venues.

What grade are they in? Someone mentioned before about Pekin and Clarksville starting a series next year (I assumed week 2) so makes me wonder if WW and Tell City start a series that week. We did play each other in JV last year If it happens at paoli I'll make sure to go.
