  1. Great work as always. Also....I miss Zach Robinsons write ups.
  2. Story is from AUG 30th. Has this thread already on page 7. Posted by DT and you were apart of convo.
  3. He just cant wrap his head around 2A. Hahaha
  4. Well I'd assume so. Always hard to beat a team twice. Can see how well Valley Adjusted week 1 of sectionals. Good luck friday
  5. Or....and hear me out.....just let the game go exactly like the 1st time? I think that's best.....just my opinion. 😂😂
  6. Campbellsburg to Leapold. (West Washington at Perry Central) 1 hr and 5 min. But it's a conference game so does it count? Our 2nd trip this year. Haha.
  7. Final 50-22. Assuming we are at PC next week again. Havent seen a final. PC was up 14-0 last I heard
  8. Chase Farmer with his 2nd pick 6 of the game. 42-8 end of 3rd
  9. WW leads 36-8 at half. I'm obviously a little surprised. QB Bowsman has been on point all game. 210 yds so far. (minus 1 pick.). Freshman Mcpheeters had a 72 yd TD run and that's been most of the running game.
  10. Have a feeling the WW game is going to be really close. The injuries seemingly keep coming. Its shame for it to be happening to arguably the most overall talented team since I moved here (97), but guys have done a tremendous job stepping up. Cant wait to freeze friday! Haha
  11. Watched them obviously last week. Was impressed with the D. Some good size kids. Knew D was good, but still surprised how well they held us last week. Good luck to GS rest of tourney!
  12. Thanks for updates. Good for Salem playing them tough.
  13. 28-0 mid 4th. Kids have had enough. Ready for next week!!
  14. WW leads 6-0 at half. Down another starter (Madden C/DT). Bowsman has 2 picks, we've had 1 TD called back by penalty, and got stopped at 1. Get ball first. Hopefully come out and ready to go.
  15. Good luck to everyone tonight. Stay safe!!
  16. How about North Decatur in A? I see them in Semi state and only takes one game to make the finals. The have I think 6 shutouts this year. Bad weather and the run the ball and play good D.
  17. That's kinda what I post up there somewhere ☝️☝️☝️. Haha. But I do agree with this line of thinking.
  18. Ways around it. I wouldve simply stated "Scottsburg kept Varisty players in against Brownstown JV down 39. I am no coach so I dont know common coaching practices, but why not play your JV for more PT?" Not all tone per say comes across when typing so I get what your saying. Argue with my wife constantly about "texting tones" 🤣
  19. Coach left same time as a giant senior class which included a QB going to ISU. Then school board seemingly created a mess with next coach and it's just a mess now. It's been covered in other threads.
  20. Now as for subject...I think I get what you're saying. For me (and I'm no coach) but I would keep kids in unless I feel they are just someone i couldnt do without at that type of score. If 60 to 0 then yea... slap in younger guys asap but I would still probably keep in some mix at all times. Older kids who can keep guys lined up, do on the field teaching ect. Extension of the coach type of kids. Plus you may have JRs who are starters but could still use all the snaps they could get against a good team like brownstown that may allow for better play the following year. Again.....just how I would do it.
  21. Well....first time we've ever been "HOT" on the forum. I'll take this minute to wave at the first time readers who are checking in to see if we are having a super heated arguement! 👋👋👋👋
  22. Then just next time just say "why does (insert team X) keep their dudes in so long?" Would save alot of the time of reading between the lines
  23. Sorry....we've had alot of injuries this year and I'm trying to forget about this year. Hahaha
  24. Believe its 5 quarters per week. So generally teams with lower head counts wont start playing till 4th quarter while teams with say 60 can start earlier in game. They can play some kids 2 quarters of varsity then 3 in JV and allow freshman or others further down play 1 varsity and all JV. However you wanna slice it up.
  25. Clarksville had a 45 game losing streak heading into this season. Went 3-6, won last 2, and scored 62 last night against North Harrison (most since week 8 2003). Progress can be made
