Maybe if sports were pushed back again (esp at the HS level) people would maybe start to take this serious and we could nip this thing till a vaccine comes. ..and go back to normal but the way a lot act..this could go on for a while.

That's the main problem. If they would have legit shut down all 50 states from march to end of May then slowly went from 1 phase to another...people taking precautions we wouldn't be in this spot...but we as a nation didn't do that and states didn't close...and the fact people can't realize that is super sad.

Who are these people that don't like sports? Roger Penske doesn't back down from nobody lol. Nascar doesn't currently have fans going to races....Neither does F1.... IRL during their season hasn't... So you honestly thought theyd go with fans? Come on now, it was only a matter of time. Its too stinking dangerous.

I don't want any elimination of sports or school. I just want fall sports moved to spring thats it. Wouldn't surprise me or see some of them try to go to other region schools.. Whiting may get an influx of kids.

Well uh, they aren't gonna have enough practices in for the scrimmage and unless they practiced last night won't have enough for the first game.

Ahh yes. Lets keep practicing after two coaches test positive with coaches and kids who were potentially exposed and creating more damage to our team and potentially miss more games. Yup. That's a real smart plan.

I think once the fall season finishes, hell have used his 4 years of eligibility. I think a few years ago Bowman had a kid play 4 years of bball in Illinois.. Didn't graduate on time, moved over to bowman and IHSAA caught on and he was declared ineligible.

That's the major issue. That's why I don't think we should start and I really don't think well finish It's the parents or strangers that'll ruin it for the kids. A parent doesn't take proper precautions, gets it..but before they get tested gives it to child.. child goes out and about...spreads it to teammates... strangers and so on.. people who don't take proper precautions.. and think covid isn't serious or real is ruining it for everyone Well you can thank adults that aren't taking this serious across the nation for ruining sports for kids.
