#8 Ryan Walsh, Andrean, get to know him, just tuned up Cass for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns.   We had our struggles with him as well, I think he got 160 some against us.

#3 Nick Flesher, does everything from, Outside WR, Slot, Jet, Wildcat.   Very good pass catcher

VERY BIG OL and Front 7.

We were very successful running the ball, but had 3 turnovers led to 20 points in our 10 pt loss 2 weeks ago.

Physical team, good players, good schemes, playing very well right now.

I watched that game.  Turnovers were not your friend that night.  Tough loss!

Mississinewa has the #4 offense and Defense in 4A while East Noble have the #8 offense and defense.  Mississinewa has the overall 15th best defense in the State while East Noble is 32nd.  Overall offensively Mississinewa is 23rd while East Noble is 33rd.  Average Margin Mississinewa is 14th overall and 3rd in 4A where East Noble is 28th and 6th.  East Noble has the stronger schedule and plays 2 3A, 1 5A, and remainder are 4A in regular season.  Mississinewa on the other hand plays 2 4A, 1 3A, 1 1A, and remainder are 2A in the regular season.  Game will be played on turf. It will be cold so better bundle up and brings lots of coffee and hot chocolate.

Here you go with your stats and theories again.  How did that work out for your South Adams vs. Madison Grant prediction??  Fact is all of those numbers go out the window Friday night!

  3. I think it would be a great thing for the conference if Mississinewa won!  I just don’t think they will this week!  As far as having something against them, I don’t like Mississinewa, never have!  I said earlier on another thread, because I was asked and I said coach Funk should’ve had better success in this little school conference than he has.  How about you just don’t worry about what I think or say!

Was talking to the AD at Eastbrook the other day and he said Eastside has almost pre-sold all of their tickets and have requested more. Should be a great atmosphere. They look pretty athletic on film and looks like they like to throw the ball, which is always scary for us Panther fans.

Speak for yourself!  I love it when teams throw against this years team!  They get after the quarterback and create turnovers!  I think Eastbrook wins this game easily.  I think a Mississinewa win would be good for the conference, but I just don’t think they have enough to win this week.  East Noble by 2+ TD’s.

    Sectional 36:

Eastern Greentown is in the midst of their best season in school history.  They run the slate without any defeats, with wins over 6-4 Delphi 28-14, 6-4 1A Sheridan 31-6, 6-4 2A Lapel 34-31 and last week over 6-5 Alexandria 20-7.  Coach Josh Edwards has been at the helm for 13 years for the Comets, and looks for this to be the breakthrough year in Greentown.  It has not been a pretty picture for EG in the past years of post season performance.  9 years in a row have seen one and done.  They've reached past the opening round just twice in 25 years, and the championship once, losing 27-0 to... Eastbrook in 2004.  The Panthers?  They have to my count 14 sectional titles, 6 Regional wins, and 3 times went to the final game in the state only to fall in each (34-20 to WeBo last year, 28-6 to Ritter in 2016, and back in 2004 62-21 to Tri-West).  Eastbrook and Coach Jeff Adamson started the year 0-2 with losses to 9-2 4A Marion 35-19 and 7-3 4A Delta 55-7.  Since then it's been 9 in a row including the only loss Mississinewa (10-1 4A) has lost 21-14, beating Blackford (5-5) twice, 48-10 over 6-5 Alexandria, and last week's 34-7 win over 6-5 Tipton.  The Panthers schedule is certainly a plus factor to Eastbrook, but the Comets have answered all comers, and allow just 9.36 ppg (2nd in 2A).

I don’t think Coach Edwards from Eastern has won 465 games!

42-55 South Adams opponent's combined record

58-58 Madison Grant opponent's combined record

I agree MG is a long shot but based on opponent's records MG may have the tougher schedule.  Remember MG plays all 2A schools with the exception of Mississinewa and Oak Hill.  The CIC had 3 teams battle to not be winless and only Elwood ended up winless.

South Adams is in the Allen County Conference which may be a weaker conference as they had the bottom 4 teams battle it out to not be winless in a 7 team conference.  South Adams plays 2 schools outside of 1A and 2A.  Both of the "big" schools compared to South Adams won a total of 3 games between them.

Because of CIC play advantage could be with MG.

Whatever you say!  South Adams in my opinion will be representing the north in 1A at the state finals.  But you just hold on to your stats and theories.  Maybe if Mississinewa had all their players healthy against Eastbrook then MG would win this week and Epstein would not have killed himself!
