  1. I agree with your Madison-Grant statement.  I think it’s a good possibility that Madison-Grant could play for a sectional championship this year.  I think the Alexandria game will be close and could go either way.  If the Alexandria defense doesn’t improve greatly they will lose Friday night.  Hopefully Eastbrook can stay healthy this week, they have a great chance to make another deep run in the tournament.  Good luck to them!  Mississinewa and Blackford don’t have much to play for.  It seems that both teams have a huge up hill climb in order to bring home any hardware this year!  Oak Hill has a chance at a sectional title if they can get healthy and tighten up their defense.  Time will tell.

Tipton's been just as battle tested as the Panthers, if not more so. This upcoming game this week against RC will tell a lot going into the tournament. I personally think saying they will "roll" through the sectional is a bit bold. If I remember correctly, last year Eastbrook thought they would "roll" through their sectional and another hoosier conference team gave them all they could handle in the Sectional Championship.

I think they get beat by Eastern/Lapel winner.

It seems to me that Eastbrook won last year and will do so again.  I just hope they are playing Alexandria for the championship!

I said I “hope” he feels the same way but that I know better than that. Not sure what you aren’t comprehending.

Well I guess I’m curious why one of the most successful coaches in this state would think like me?  Maybe you just made one of the stupidest comments I’ve ever read on here.  Tipton is just not good enough to beat Eastbrook this year.  Sorry if that’s hard for you to handle and for you to hope that a coach of a great team is overlooking every team in this sectional is absurd.

They're (Eastern) solid. Watched film from Ole Miss scrimmage.  I haven't seen Lapel play, but think neither will be able to hang with Eastbrook 4 quarters. Eastbrook is battle tested against a few really good teams and will roll through this sectional.

    Tipton?

Just trying to be nice.  I think Eastbrook walks through this sectional.

I will be watching from afar:   No more weekly CIC action for me!!!   Back to Lake County for the Bombers come week 10!!!!

I don’t think winning this week against another bad coach was the point.  I think finishing this year with no titles is the point.  Mississinewa should at least win the county or conference every year to be considered successful.

Blackford and Eastbrook--Blackford will put up a fight but unfortunately the Bruins run out of steam as Eastbrook pulls out the win.

Mississinewa and Alexandria--Mississinewa runs away with this one and looks forward to next week.

Elwood and Madison Grant--MG gets the win and scores more in 1 game than they have all season.

Frankton and Oak Hill--Eagles will win this one it's just a matter of which Eagles team shows up.  Oak Hill Golden Eagles wins this one but not by muc

Remember Mississinewa lost to Eastbrook without Cade Campbell.  He was hurt during the PH game but Ole Miss went on to win.  Perhaps if he was healthy the game might have had a different outcome.

No sir, he played in that game against Eastbrook.

You're misinterpreting. This implies that one of those teams will make a deep run. Even if Webo or Eastbrook beats Cass or Pioneer, the road still technically goes through one of those towns.

Sagarin also has Cass and Pioneer as the #1 and #2 ranked teams.

Sagarin also has Mississinewa higher than Eastbrook.  Eastbrook pretty much dominated Mississinewa in that game.  I just don’t think Sagarin is the gospel.  I just think Eastbrook is going to be a tough out this season.

Interesting.  Funk is 72-35 with a Sectional Championship in 2017 and running up in 2018.  Prior to him taking over I believe Ole Miss was really struggling to hold on.  Why do you think he is holding them back?  Seems like he was doing pretty well there and could get something bigger and better if he wanted to.

Alex on the other hand, I agree with.

I guess I’m basing my statement off of my personal dealings with Mississinewa football.  This 4A school should be walking through the CIC every football season.  I feel that the Ole Miss football program is not always “the best player plays.”  It is political and that hurts the overall success of the program.  The players aren’t always held accountable for behavioral or academic shortfalls.  This also hurts the football program and the overall perception of the Mississinewa school as a whole.

Eastbrook wins easily and looks forward to the sectional. Really the only team in the CIC that had a chance to win a sectional is Eastbrook, with only one team in their way and that’s Tipton. I know Eastern is having a good year but when they start playing quality teams I will start considering them.

Im sorry Ole Miss but there is a VERY slight chance you win that sectional. Hopefully you don’t draw Marion or Delta first round so maybe you can win a game. Heard a rumor the other day that funk was looking to leave? Any news on that from Gas City?

Frankton is getting ready for basketball

Alexandria is getting ready for baseball

Blackford is ready to get on the Luke Brown, Kid can shoot the ball, but to slow to play D1

Oak Hill, Elwood, and MG, not much to look forward to.

I think that coach Funk is holding Mississinewa back.  He is just not that good of a coach and has failed to inspire and discipline a larger team and be able to use the talent there to the best of their ability.  I think that the same applies to Alexandria!  This group of athletes that the Tigers have, should be way more competitive!  It seems the basketball and baseball coaches have figured out what they have and how to translate that talent into success.

I'll make this bold prediction as well. Whoever does win Sectional 34 will be representing the North at LOS in November.

Don’t go counting those chickens friend.  There are some pretty good teams left in the north, that definitely could spoil your bold prediction.
