Covington 26, Seeger 25. Game of the week in the WRC! Sullivan 40, Mildcats 18 NV 40, RP 0. I would’ve gone higher, but I have a feeling the NV coaching staff will take it easier than normal on the Panthers. Attica 46, FC 0. O’fer watch is on. PH 72, Eastern Greene 0. The Wolfs juggernaut will get back on track this week. Every great team needs a wake up call at some point of the season. Still wish the Wolfs would be playing Linton on this date. Would’ve been a helluva game.

PH will beat SV MUCH worse than NV beat them...any takers on that?

That’s too bad, that would’ve been a heckuva matchup this year! I see the Wolfs are playing Eastern Greene. That would’ve been ok a few years ago, but not so much this year. Kudos to NV for stepping out of their comfort zone and playing someone they may not be better than. I still think the Wolfs are the better team, but NV will be battle tested by the time they play.

I heard Linton tried to get PH on the schedule? What happened there? That would’ve been an epic matchup this season! I also heard that the Wolfs and NV were at some summer scrimmages together yet didn’t play each other?

If FC stays within 2 TD’s of the Trojans I think they should count it as a .5 win and therefore not live with the stigma of the 0’fer! Unfortunately, Covington has played a REALLY good schedule so far and now is when they will start making their hay!

Falcons have played Linton 5 times in the last 4 years and the closest game has been 14 points. I think this NV team is very good by WRC standards (although I think they’re 2nd best), but Linton isn’t the WRC and I think a miracle of some sorts would have to happen for the Falcons to pull this one out. I hope I’m wrong.

A few observations from last night: 1). NV is obviously still very good. Do they have enough to take down the juggernaut? 2). Are the Trojans suffering from the murderers row or just not that good? 3). Are the Mildcats still mild or was last night’s 1st half just a blip on the radar? Likewise, is RP maybe a little better than given credit or was it SV sleepwalking? 4). In Herb we trust....or in Herb we bust? 5). . Is the best going out of business team good or just a product of a weak beginning schedule? Does their coach get enough credit...ever?? 6). Poor FC. Tough times for Mustang faithful. They need the HOF’er back! 7). If this juggernaut of an offense PH has gets a running clock next week against a 3-0 team can we all get off my back and call a spade a spade?

Oh come on, the Wolves have scored 112 points in just 2 games. You even admitted they scored 60 points in just 2 quarters last Friday. That is what I call an offensive juggernaut! I’ll take PH by 35+ against Attica next week.

1). I don’t see anyone coming within 20 points of the Wolves. That offense is a pure juggernaut. Do they really onside kick on every kick? 2). I think Attica is the team of the year in the WRC. They went from not having a team to being the second best team! 3). 7-2 regular season for the Falcons is not too shabby. 4). Maybe we have gotten to where the Mildcats aren’t so mild anymore? But I’m not sure their postseason chances look real good? 5). If I’m a Covington fan I want a new schedule! SV, PH, and NV in first 3 weeks? Ouch! 6). In Herb we trust. 7). These WRC threads have been really lame so far! Why is nobody talking about this juggernaut of an offense that Hall of Fame Coach Moore and the PH Wolves have going? Seriously? Have we ever seen an offense this potent in the WRC? How about RP beating FC? That is a HUGE win for the RP football program! I’ve heard big things are going on with RP football these days. Is NV for real or are they just hanging on to old tradition? Is SV still a wannabe or have they maybe turned the corner? How about the turnaround Seeger had after week 1? I think that is quite impressive! And, nobody talks about Attica, but all they do is win! Maybe they are the most overlooked team in the WRC?
