First_Backer_Inside Posted September 6, 2024 Author Posted September 6, 2024 Will be interesting to see what the Southwood/Northwestern game ends up looking like. Northwestern 2-0 to start and some tough first two games for Southwood coming out of the gate. Pulling for Cass to get it done against Peru, but I'm not sure if it will happen or not. Quote

Should be an interesting night for football, if the weather is decent then Mac and NW should be ok. If it is raining then Mac and NW might struggle a little bit on offense. Peru and Cass might come down to who is more physical. 1 Quote

MacAttack53 Posted September 12, 2024 Posted September 12, 2024 I may have ulterior motives rooting for might Manchester, but it's always hard for me to bet or cheer against a Ron Shaffer coached squad! 1 Quote

I apologize, I always assume a Mac person rooting against Rochester is due to hoping we fall out of conference contention before we get to them. It would be really cool if both teams could run the table to the end, and have the matchup be for a conference title, but time will tell. Still a lot of teams on both schedules that can play spoiler. Cass and Northwestern are still just as much in contention as Mac and Rochester. Can't count out Peru quite yet either. Being a Cass grad, I would be very upset if Northwestern pulls off conference champs first year in the league. Especially, with Rochester not getting a chance to play them. Quote
