So we disagree significantly on New Pal, Snider and East Noble.

I don't know about "significantly." I meant to put Hamilton Southeastern in front of Carroll (hard to ignore their head to head game). After Hamilton Southeastern, things get iffy, it's hard to say without seeing those teams matchup against one another. Time wiIl tell. Posters think I'm picking on New Pal, bottom line, I just don't like their schedule. If they prove me wrong on Friday, I'll eat crow and bump them accordingly. Right now, I think Chatard is more battle tested.

I can't give the same gap you have between Carroll and Snider since I was at the game in person and saw it with my own two eyes. Snider could have easily won that game 24-21 exactly as I predicted.

I'm way more impressed with East Noble's victory over Dwenger than you are, and you should probably defer to me on this since this is my region. They look better now than they did at this time last year, and that's saying something. I think fans assumed the Knights would take a step back with the coaching change (including me). How wrong we were.

But you like Crown Point’s schedule enough to rank them #2?

30 spot difference in Crown Point and New Pal’s schedule strength and both have eerily similar offensive/defensive point per game stats

Now, in no way am I comparing the two head to head as I think Crown Point would win by multiple possessions, but I think you’re talking out of both sides of your mouth here because you want something to be true so badly.

Let's not pretend that Crown Point's schedule is as easy as New Pal's. Stats don't mean anything to me. Crown Point is a 'run you over' type of team. I'm presuming New Pal is a pass happy team like they've been in the past.

Do I want Crown Point to win state? Yes I do, anyone from true north. Do I care if New Pal represents the south? Actually, I'd love to see them in the state championship squaring off with hopefully East Noble. Chatard bores me. My only crime is making predictions without seeing either of these teams play. I'm solely going off of scores, historical facts, hearsay, and gut. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.

No, that’s not what I was insinuating but for some reason you are high on Crown Point (despite their schedule strength relative to the rest of 6A) while taking a dump on New Pal who actually has the second best schedule strength of the remaining 4A teams, lol.

Also, New Pal averages 269 rushing yards per game.  They throw the ball less than 15 times per game.

If I should default to you on your area is it fair that I ask you to do the same for mine?

I was impressed with East Noble's win over Dwenger.  East Noble is much better than they were in week 2.  This East Noble team reminds me of the 2000 East Noble team that won state.  They had David Gater on that team and everyone at East Noble was saying, "Don't go swimming"

I have seen in the past others mention New Pal is a pass happy team. In reality when you listen to Coach Ralph's philosophy for his team that is not their identity. Their Identity is to be a Power Spread System with the inside or outside zone. When they do throw the ball it is off of RPO and the defense has likely given them a look to force the pass (number of players in the box). Coach Ralph gave an excellent Glazier talk about his Power Zone System. With Coach Ralph being a former Offensive Lineman at St. X (Cincy OH), North Carolina he takes great pride in his O-line and running the football.

I would say Chatard under Coach Doyle (who loves to fling the ball around) is more of pass happy team than New Palestine. Chatard still runs the ball but their Offensive Scheme is a lot different under Coach Doyle than it was under Coach Lorenzano.
