Flyingangel Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Just for some fun because this is a big week in NWI for duneland. I got………. crown point over portage 50-0 Lake central over Laporte 42-14 Valpo over Chesterton 28-17 Merrillville over Michigan city 35-17 Quote

Crown Point by whatever they want the score to be. Agreed. Week 9 is likely the only chance for LaPorte or Portage to get a DAC W. 42-14 sounds fair. LC's offense will relish the not seeing Crown Point on the other side of the field. Big Porter County rivarly game. Valpo doesn't have a lot of talent is going through a down year. Not sure that's enough for Cheese Town to take advantage of. I'll take Valpo by 6. City's D was torn apart by Jeff so i would expect Merrillville to do the same. Not sure what to think about the City offense here. They showed up late against Jeff and late again last week against Valpo. They still have some playmakers and speed at WR even though they lost that D1 prospect to the portal and Chicago. QB is up and down. Can make big throws here and there. I really like your 35-17 prediction. Great chance though for French to get. statement win in the Duneland and finish 7-2. Quote

Maybe city can shock everyone and beat the bulldogs end of year and make the DAC a 3 way tie lol 😂 Quote
RegionFBFan Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Michigan City is way over rated. They beat a bad Valpo team. Jeff thumped them and he’ll Hanover game the score is very misleading as HC kept shooting themselves in the foot. The DAC has two quality teams ; CP and Merrillville. The rest are average to bad. You don’t think valpo can correct it by state tourney like they did a few years ago? Quote
RegionFBFan Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 I have alot of respect for Coach Marshall and he will have them improved. Having said that, they just don’t have any horses. They’re not as big up front as they usually are, the qb is not bad but no threats at rb or wr. Defensively, they play hard and schemed ok but not stout or fast. Bad combo. They are young also. It’s just not their year. Quote
