Never heard of any of these schools

NWI vs  ILLINOIS Burb Schools and Southern chicago, like Crete Monee ( school full of athletes !!). https://www.on3.com/high-school/crete-monee-crete-il-18580/football/alumni/

Some real players across the border

Selfishly:

Rensselaer Bombers vs Clark Cougars out of San Antonio

Sadly, I worry that a running clock would be in order but would give a good go !!!

The future of highschool football imo is some sort of super conference. Something like Cathedral joining the four big Cincy Catholics (Elder, LaSalle, Moeller, St. X) and the three Kentucky Catholic powers (Cov Cath, St. X and Trinity) to create a Tri-State Catholic League.

The HCC probably survives on the merit of it being one of the top conferences in the country year after year.

Us Northern guys have been kicking around ideas for improving Penn's conference schedule, and I think a super conference could help. I would rope in DAC teams, but it makes more sense for them to improve their schedules with trips across the state line. Something like Penn, Elkhart, Homestead, Carroll, Dwenger in the big division, Luers, St Joe, Mishawaka Marian, New Prairie and Concordia in the small division.

With the hypothesis that the biggest schools will continue to grow, while those in less growth conducive situations continue their stasis, I wrote out a plan for a 24 team super league somewhere with a North divisions with something like Homestead, Carroll, Crown Point, Merrillville, Penn and Elkhart, Suburbs division with Fishers, HSE, Carmel, Noblesville, Westfield and Zionsville, Central division with Avon, Brownsburg, Decatur Central, Ben Davis, LN and LC, and a South(ish) division with Center Grove, Columbus North, East Central, Franklin Central, New Palestine and Warren Central. Play each of your five division mates, one school from each of the other divisions on a rotating basis, and one non-con game (so games like WC-BD and Carmel-Center Grove can be played). Obviously a far fetched idea, but a fun thought experiment.

I think the tri state Catholic league is flat out awesome.

Although it’s not a mega-school game, I would like to see Pioneer take on Kiel (WI).

Blair HS takes on Kiel HS
