But 365 days ago @23andCounting kept going on and on about how Notre Dame was a different team at the beginning of the season then they were in December.

But won’t give Bama that same grace.

Maybe Georgia improved and is just really damn good?

Notre Dame proceeded to dominate the best teams on their schedule, winding up with the lone loss. They then proved their worth by blowing through the Big 10 and the SEC in route to a finals appearance. Quit bringing up last year and NIU. There's no debate there. You're comparing a championship caliber team to a three loss Bama team with two embarrassing losses that's being coddled by ESPN. You know you don't have a leg to stand on, you just enjoy the banter.

You can slice it however you want. The consensus around the country, minus the State of Alabama, is that Notre Dame should have been in and the Tide should have been out. Alabama is in for one reason only..........ESPN.

After all , that's all they needed last year was an opportunity and we all seen what happened . A sleeping giant is being woken up , the haters can't deal with it . They know they can run their mouth now , but their time is limited .

I consider conference championships, money making machines, regular season. Bama had an opportunity to showcase themselves only to prove they don't belong with the best. Had they lost by 7 or 10, they'd have a case. They were humiliated shortly after barely beating Auburn. Don't give me this rivalry bull crap.
