Only surprise this week was North Vermillions shredding the little rubbers. Kudos to The Tenderloins for not totally destroying the Ponies. Earl should get his first coaching win this week and the Loins will probably light it up with Seegers.

Covington @ FC - Battle of the injuries in this one. Rumor I'm hearing is that Covington's qb hurt is knee against Poly and they are not sure if he'll be back this season. Not only has FC lost the older Foxworthy due to blowing his knee out in the summer they have now lost the younger Foxworthy too. A dirty blindside block last week on him sent him to the hospital. I think this will be a low scoring game FC 24 Covington 20

PH @ Attica - Maybe the Wolves are the real deal. They will start 3-1 for the first time since Moore left. The passing game of the Wolves has surprised me. Maybe Rector is prepping for the next couple years when he has the 8th grade qb. He'll be the best player in the conference as a freshman and would start at qb for every WRC school right now. PH by as much as they want.

RP @ Seeger - Panthers started slow last week. I think most of it was from all the emotions from retiring #30. I don't see them starting slow this week. They will get out in front early. Running clock in the second half 56-14

SV @ NV - NV surprised me with last weeks win. The Hinchee kid at qb is legit and will be one of the best players in the WRC soon. SV looks to bounce back from a game it sounds like they had won until a couple late penalties. The two qbs will battle it out this week and I think SV has better athletes and will be more hungry after last week. Wildcats 28-22

Covington @ FC- Coach Earl is going to get his first win this week. Not sure what happened last week against the Falcons but it definitely surprised me. I think FC is doing the right things, just not sure what they are going to be able to do without Foxworthy. Hopefully he will be back to finish his conference run because there are some more winnable games on the schedule for FC. Give me the Mustangs by a score.

PH @ Attica- PH might be the real deal and may give the Panthers a run for their money for first place in the conference. I think the week 8 match up between the Woofs and the Loins is going to be the game of the year in the WRC. Attica is still on the struggle bus. The Rox by as many as they want.

RP @ Seeger- The Panthers had some slow starts this year but it seems like they can flip that switch whenever they want to. Saw the stats from Friday night and it looked like the Lesniak kid was back and getting some carries. Not sure who #2 is for the Panthers but he's only a sophomore and going to be a stud. RP is better than Seeger up front but with Seeger having athletes and slinging the ball around I think this could be a good game. Give me the Panthers by a score.

SV @ NV- NV pulled off the the upset last week, I think everyone in this thread thought that Covington would win that. SV lost a heartbreaker Friday that could have been won with a field goal... I think Hinche is going to do his thing against the Visors defense but the Kittys have too many athletes. Miller and his crew are going  to win this game by at least 2 scores.

Covington @ FC - What a string of bad luck for the Mustangs.  And interesting comment on Covington's QB WRC123.   It appears he didn't play against NV either.   I would like to see the play that knocked the FC QB out bc I was told it was a "bang bang" borderline play on a punt, not a malicious blindside hit as stated.  Unfortunate, for sure.   If both QB's are out, give me FC.  They have the best athlete on the field in Bachelor.    FC 24-12

PH @ Attica - I'm still on the PH train.  They'll handle business and probably do so until they see RP later this season.   And I think they can stand toe-to-toe with RP based on how the season has gone so far.   PH 50 - 6

RP @ Seeger - As much as I'd love to see this be a competitive game, I think RP is probably better than Carrol, who controlled the Seeger game.   I love the Seeger offense, but too many clock stops combined with the RP run game spells bad news in 2026.   I wrote it last week and I'll write it again - Where does RP get all these kids?   Lesniak came back last week and had multiple TD's, along with Pope.  Seriously, the kid has touched the ball like 12 times and has 5 TD's.  RP 46 - 14

SV @ NV - Is SV the most underachieving team in the conference thus far in 2026?  And is NV the most overachieving through three games?   Who would have thought through three weeks that NV and SV would have had the same number of passing yards?  It's a toss-up, so give me SV and their all-world QB.  SV 35-24
