Evansville Bosse Bulldogs 16-7 VS. Heritage Hills Patriots 22-1 3A Boonville sectional 1st Round
Heritage Hills was ranked 4th in the Feburary 19th 3A poll and the Patriots come in averaging 68.7 ppg and giving up 47.3 ppg, The Bulldogs average 67.8 ppg and giving up 59.4 ppg.

Sagarin has Heritage Hills rated 30th in the state and 6th in 3A, Bulldogs are rated 46th in the state by Sagarin and 9th in 3A. Sagarin has the Bosse schedule rated 85th in the state and the Heritage Hills schedule rated 195th in the state
Note: Bosse has 2 games and Heritage Hills 1 game against out of state opponents that are not included in Sagarin ratings.

Both Sagarin and John Harrells computer rankings has this game too close to call, Sagarin has Heritage Hills favoried by 3.78 points and John Harrell has it Heritage Hills 63 Bosse 59.

As a Heritage Hills fan one of the things that scares me the most about Bosse is the fact they have 5 players averaging in double figures and all around 10 to 11 ppg making it impossible to key in on one or 2 big scorers like is the case in most games.

Top 7 scorers and a few stats for each team.

WHAT A GAME LAST NIGHT!  Definitely lived up to the hype! Old school Indiana basketball crowd!  Boonville has not seen this type of crowd in 20+ years.  There had to be over 5,000 in attendance.    Heritage Hills had a great season and both teams played at an extremely high level last night.  Terrible to lose in the first round of the playoffs, but the Patriots have nothing to be ashamed of.  I am sure there is not an individual in Santa Claus that could say a bad word about those kids!  This match-up is only going to be better next year.

Both teams should be outstanding next year. Move in players have really helped Bosse the last 2 two years. Ware last year was the difference in the sectionals and Sanford was huge late last night. Already looking forward to this matchup again.

Sectional 32 is a tough deal for basketball. This unbelievably talented group at HH players could end up not winning a single sectional basketball game if they go 0-1 again next season. That’s crazy to think about IMO.

You cant give 3 offensive rebounds at free throw line in closing minutes and win, We do even decent on boards we win game so I'm sure improving that part of the game will be a priority in the summer.

Wish Jones could have played more  would have been nice to have him Face Guarding Sanford all night like he did to other teams best guards before his injury. Never scored but best  defensive player we had by far.

Move in is a pretty kind expression.

Cade Jones is just a winner. Gotta have a kid like that. Didn’t realize he was fighting an injury.

Missed 6 or 7 games tore Meniscus at Southridge, returned for Final game against Perry but didn't play much Tuesday.

Let's not start conversations about kids when we do not know all of the details

Zero negativeness on either situation. Just pointing out that both of last two years Bosse picked up a really good player each year.  I have no problem with it. IMO parents have to do what they feel is best for their kid. SIAC there are several choices out there. I think middle school parents whose kids play sports would be stupid not to look at best situation both academically and athletically for high school.

I understand what you are saying.  I was referring to the above comment from taps.
