Westfield vs. HSE Ending

Recommended Posts

Unreal playmaking and “onions” by both sides in the 4th quarter. HSE sets the table by converting multiple 4th down attempts on their final drive  to finally get in the end zone with less than a minute left to make it a 21-20 ballgame. Credit to Coach Kelly for dialing up a 2 pt conversion instead of settling for OT. It looked like HSE went back to the same pass play that picked up yardage on the previous 4th down attempt. Westfield snuffed it out, HSE’s QB scrambled and found an open man in the EZ to make it 22-21 HSE with about 40 seconds left. I can’t say I’m surprised that Maximus Webster and Micah Hauser drove Westfield downfield and into a manageable FG attempt. Kudos to Westfield kicker Caleb King for splitting the uprights on the 25 yard game winner.

it feels like Webster and Hauser have been at Westfield for 5 years. Those 2 are going to leave major voids to fill in the Westfield offense next year.

The kickers at Westfield the last 5-7 years have been phenomenal it seems.. Will Harrison single handily beat Columbus East at the 5A state title a few years ago. Westfield and East that year both had unbelievable defenses, Harrison was the difference.. Good Luck to the Rocks the rest of the year.

Agreed...their special teams have been top notch n east wasn't the only team he beat that year..kind of like adding a sniper to ur arsenal..
