The guy was saying the move to EV’s is a game changer in that it will be the end of the hoopty. HS kids won’t be able to keep EV’s on the road, due to costs of replacement batteries, shade tree mechanicing will be difficult with Uber tech and high voltage DC. My guess is we’ll see a whole new breed of hot rodders born, but the high school hoopty may well be a thing of the past. 1

There is no way getting an EV towing a full size 5th Wheel with any satisfaction, unless you like leap-frogging from charging station to charging station...... You can't "flat tow" an EV. I’m a guy who does truck things with a truck, from what I’ve seen with EV trucks, I’ll leave them to the soccer dads for the time being. That being said the Ford F-150 Lightning is pretty cool for tooling around town or taking your kids to the lake for the weekend. Just doesn’t check the truck stuff boxes I need out of a truck. The tech is there now, embrace hybrid tech. Also of note Cummins is still headed down the Hydrogen rabbit hole.
