Eastbrook won handily. The game was over after their first possession. The shocker this week (but not really) is the Mississinewa/Oak Hill game. Looks like the Indians are going to be lucky to finish 3rd in the conference this year.

The Panthers defense looked very good Friday night. Props to the new Mississinewa coach for the kind words.

Eastbrook has only played Delta twice. Last year the Panthers got shellacked. However, Delta took it on the chin in 2018. To say Delta has destroyed Eastbrook in the past makes it sound like they've beaten up on us numerous times. We are 1-1 against a good 4A team and Friday will be the rub match. The Sagarin ratings have it dead even. Eastbrook might be a 1 point favorite because of home field advantage but it should be a good game.

I believe the regular season totals were as follows: Liddick - 13 Mcguire - 12 It was Liddick's junior year so 2015?

According to Max Preps, the Liddick kid already accomplished that 😉

You are absolutely right! However, with 6:20ish left in the 2nd qtr, there was a blatant block in the back on 3rd and 8 that was missed and the result of the play was a 34 yard pass completion. WB ended up scoring on that drive.

Mississinewa @ Marion I'm going strictly by the Sagarin ratings on this one. This game could go either way. Eastbrook @ Eastern There will be a running clock and the Panther starters will be resting the 4th quarter. Eastern's schedule is weak and Eastbrook will score early and often. MG @ South Adams It was a good run Argylls. Their Cinderella story comes to an end. South Adams can score as much as they want.

Eastbrook took care of business last night. And, according to the announcer on the radio, Mississinewa put on a defensive clinic to beat a very good Delta squad. Good luck to the CIC teams next week.

100% agree. From what I saw, standing on the Blackford side, that first half was atrocious. The Bruin fans, players, and coaches were ecstatic to be ahead at the half.
