  1. https://nypost.com/2021/06/30/bill-cosby-isnt-a-good-man-but-due-process-isnt-just-for-the-good/ On Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned the conviction of Bill Cosby and barred further prosecution of his alleged crime. This is good news. Not because Cosby is an admirable man or has done nothing wrong — but because legal niceties aren’t just for nice people. In 2005, Cosby was accused of sexual assault. After interviewing his accuser, the district attorney decided that the case couldn’t be proved beyond a reasonable doubt. The only way she could get any justice, he believed, was through a civil case. But civil proceedings would be hindered by Cosby’s right not to incriminate himself — a right he would retain as long as he faced the possibility of criminal charges. So the prosecutor publicly announced that he wouldn’t charge Cosby. In depositions for the civil suit, Cosby offered a host of self-incriminating statements that led to a large settlement. In 2015, a new DA reversed his predecessor’s decision and charged Cosby. The resulting case relied on Cosby’s self-incriminating statements. In the view of the state’s highest court, this reversal constituted a denial of Cosby’s due-process rights. “Society holds a strong interest in the prosecution of crimes,” the court stated. “It is also true that no such interest, however important, ever can eclipse society’s interest in ensuring that the constitutional rights of the people are vindicated.” This alone was enough to overturn Cosby’s conviction. It spared the court from pronouncing on another issue that could have blown up the case: The prosecution assembled at least 19 other women who accused Cosby of sexual assault, but all these allegations fell outside the statute of limitations. Nonetheless, one of these women was allowed to testify at Cosby’s first trial, which resulted in a hung jury. At the second trial, which led to a conviction, five of the women were allowed to testify. Unless the court is very careful, such testimony risks prejudicing the jury. It can deny the defendant the presumption of innocence on the basis of allegations that the state cannot even prosecute. This strategy was not only used against Bill Cosby. It was employed against Harvey Weinstein, who has cited it — among other things — as grounds for overturning his conviction in an appeal. (Perhaps the strangest aspect of Weinstein’s trial was the fact that the judge refused to remove a juror who had written a #MeToo-themed book and so had a clear interest in the outcome of the case, effectively stripping Weinstein of his right to a fair trial.) People have been reluctant to examine these facts. Understandably so, because these men have behaved in unquestionably predatory ways. Still, the legal and factual shortcuts raise profound questions about the whole course of #MeToo. That movement arose when Ronan Farrow published explosive reporting about Weinstein’s alleged assaults. Some of that reporting failed to meet basic journalistic standards, but few cared. Weinstein went to jail, and Farrow went on to a celebrated career that only now has begun to unravel. Sure of their ability to identify heroes and villains, the promoters of #MeToo have failed to uphold journalistic ethics, the presumption of innocence and due process. Their movement has destroyed the lives of countless people, most of them far less famous than Cosby or Weinstein. But even the most hateful people have rights. We can’t abridge them simply because a national mood commands us to do so. That is why the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has overturned Cosby’s conviction, and why New York courts may overturn Weinstein’s. Vindicating justice requires rejecting the mistakes of #MeToo. Right or wrong, and in the rush to persecute/prosecute the rules to get there are still the rules......Will Mr. Weinstein next to be set free?
  2. FYI - A statement made when he was Governor of California. Regarding the Mulford Act In 1967. Meant to disarm the Black Panthers conducting armed patrols. Who were openly (not concealed) carrying weapons........One of the only times the NRA actually supported real gun control..... Think of it this way - I am carrying a weapon. It's concealed because the last person I want to know I am armed is the armed person committing a crime where I would feel the necessity to draw on them. I don't walk around displaying a gun. That's smart.
  3. https://www.insideindianabusiness.com/story/44184553/judge-orders-indiana-to-reinstate-expanded-federal-unemployment INDIANAPOLIS - A Marion County judge on Friday said that the state must reinstate expanded federal unemployment benefits until a final ruling is made in a case filed by a group of people who are unemployed. Judge John Hanley of Marion Superior Court called for a temporary reinstatement of benefits that Republican Gov. Eric Holcomb ended June 19. Hanley found that by rejecting federal benefits, the state is violating Indiana law. He also said the plaintiffs had shown a “reasonable likelihood of success.” Indiana code gives the state the responsibility of securing “all rights and benefits” conferred under certain federal statutes, including those that “deal with the establishment and funding of federal and state unemployment benefits schemes,” Hanley said, and the benefits under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act are funded by those statutes. “Indiana law recognizes the importance of these benefits. Indiana law requires the State to accept these benefits,” Hanley said. The costs incurred by the state to administer those benefits are also covered by the CARES Act, so the balance of harm favors the plaintiffs, as their loss of benefits outweighs any potential harm to the state, Hanley said. Through the CARES Act signed into law in March 2020 by President Donald Trump, the extra unemployment benefits were supposed to last through September, but Holcomb said that extra money would be cut off for Hoosiers. Republican governors in states ending the pandemic benefits have cited workforce shortages and the improving economy as the reasons behind their decisions. The judgment requires the state to immediately notify the U.S. Department of Labor of its continued participation in CARES Act programs until the court makes a final decision in the case, the filing said. These federal programs came to an end in Indiana on June 19: Federal Pandemic Unemployment Compensation (FPUC), which provides a $300 weekly add-on to recipients of unemployment insurance. Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC), which provides recipients extended benefits after their traditional 26 weeks of unemployment insurance benefits have been exhausted. Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA), which provides benefits to individuals who do not normally qualify for unemployment benefits, such as self-employed, gig workers, and independent contractors. Mixed Earner Unemployment Compensation (MEUC), which provides a $100 additional weekly benefit for individuals who are eligible for regular unemployment benefits but also earned at least $5,000 in self-employment income. The office of Gov. Holcomb released this statement on Friday evening: “The state of Indiana took the appropriate steps to terminate its participation in federal pandemic unemployment program. The agreement ended on June 19. The Governor and Department of Workforce Development will discuss an immediate appeal of the judge’s order with the Attorney General.” The plaintiffs’ attorneys, Jennifer Terry with Indiana Legal Services and Jeffrey Macey with Macey Swanson, released this statement on Friday: “Continuing the expanded unemployment benefits is meaningful to our clients and Hoosiers across the state who have relied on this assistance throughout the pandemic. While there will be further legal proceedings in this case, we look forward to the state following the judge’s orders to reinstate the benefits for so many in need right now.” The Indiana Democratic Party on Friday afternoon issued this statement: “Federal unemployment benefits – funded by President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan – are helping Hoosier families put the pandemic in the rearview mirror. Still, COVID-19 exposed one glaring problem too many Hoosier workers know: many jobs do not pay a livable wage and force people to work more for less. The responsibility of this unfair reality should fall on the state’s elected leaders who too often are putting their extreme partisanship ahead of common-sense solutions like raising the state’s minimum wage. Democrats know it’s past time to raise worker wages, and we hope Republicans can finally get on board so that a better future can be built for every Hoosier family across Indiana.” Just Great....
  4. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-9712973/Nearly-4-000-Massachusetts-residents-fully-vaccinated-against-COVID-tested-positive-virus.html Nearly 4,000 Massachusetts residents who were fully vaccinated against COVID-19 have tested positive for the virus. These so-called 'breakthrough' cases occur when people contract the disease 14 days or more after receiving their second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine or the Johnson & Johnson one-shot jab, and which officials say are not surprising. With more than 3.7 million people in Massachusetts who have completed their vaccine series, this means breakthrough infections have occurred in about one out of every 1,000 - or 0.001 percent - according to the state's Department of Public Health (DPH). WHY IN THE WORLD is everyone so surprised? Just like the flu vaccination, the virus/flu/bug/germs still exist and ANYONE can carry it/them. Apparently this virus is pretty dagum smart....it is SO dangerous it can dodge a vaccine better than anything else..... Although - it cured the flu. So there is that.....

  6. https://www.spytalk.co/p/high-level-chinese-defection-rumored High-level Chinese Defection Rumored Chinese State Security Vice Minister Dong Jingwei would be highest-level defector in the history of the People's Republic. Matthew Brazil and Jeff Stein 22 hr ago 4 3 Share Chinese-language anti-communist media and Twitter are abuzz this week with rumors that a vice minister of State Security, Dong Jingwei (董经纬) defected in mid-February, flying from Hong Kong to the United States with his daughter, Dong Yang. Dong Jingwei supposedly gave the U.S. information about the Wuhan Institute of Virology that changed the stance of the Biden Administration concerning the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic. Spy Catcher Dong is, or was, a longtime official in China’s Ministry of State Security (MSS), also known as the Guoanbu. His publicly available background indicates that he was responsible for the Ministry’s counterintelligence efforts in China, i.e., spy-catching, since being promoted to vice minister in April 2018. If the stories are true, Dong would be the highest-level defector in the history of the People’s Republic of China. Dong’s defection was raised by Chinese officials last March at the Sino-American summit in Alaska, according to Dr. Han Lianchao, a former Chinese foreign ministry official who defected after the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. In a tweet on Wednesday, Han, citing an unnamed source, alleged that China’s foreign minister Wang Yi and Communist Party foreign affairs boss Yang Jiechi demanded that the Americans return Dong and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken refused. Mollie Saltskog, a senior intelligence analyst with The Soufan Group, who earned a master’s degree in global affairs from Tsinghua University in Beijing, also urged caution, saying unconfirmed reports of defections surface regularly. And more: “While significant and certainly useful for our intelligence efforts,” she added, “one high-level defection will not drastically change our understanding or approach to China. In short, if true, this is potentially significant but not a game-changer.” The State Department did not respond to a request for comment on Dong’s alleged defection by press time. It typically does not comment on defectors. A half dozen experts on Chinese intelligence queried by SpyTalk said they had no information to share on Dong’s alleged defection. Chinese-language press stories also claim that Dong’s daughter Yang defected with him from Hong Kong on or about Feb. 10. She is allegedly the former spouse of a senior Alibaba Group executive, Jiang Fan, who heads up TMall, China’s big Amazon-like business. Alibaba founder Jack Ma came under fire from Beijing last fall after he criticized Chinese regulators and banks in a public forum in Shanghai. Authorities suspended a planned blockbuster $37 billion IPO for Alibaba’s financial affiliate Ant Group. Corruption is rife in China’s state-directed economy, and it may have washed up on Dong. “He worked closely with Zhang Yue, who's now serving 15 years imprisonment for corruption," Dr. Han said. “Zhang was a confidant of Ma Jian, former MSS executive vice minister, who is also in prison for corruption.” Dong “was last seen in public in September 2020,” Han said. His photos have been deleted by the Chinese search engine Baidu, according to some Chinese language news reports abroad. Wuhan Again Without naming Dong, the pro-Trump web site Red State reported June 4 on a high-level defection from China, saying the Defense Intelligence Agency had received information from him that Beijing is covering up biological warfare research at the Wuhan lab, and advanced its story to question the integrity of Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “Sources say the level of confidence in the defector’s information is what has led to a sudden crisis of confidence in Dr. Anthony Fauci, adding that U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) personnel detailed to DIA have corroborated very technical details of information provided by the defector,” it said. According to the authoritative Paris-based newsletter Intelligence Online, Dong is “close to” Chinese President Xi Jinping. “He previously headed the Guoanbu in the region of Hebei, which has produced many of Xi's securocrats,” the publication reported in 2018. Back in 2010, IO reported that Dong carried out orders from superiors in Beijing to arrest “four Japanese employees of the Fujita Corporation who were filming in a forbidden military zone.” The move was seen at the time as a power play by State Security against then-President Hu Jintao. Meanwhile, the Chinese State Council’s official web page listing the top personnel in the Ministry of State Security no longer lists any vice ministers working under MSS minister Chen Wenqing. Under “personnel developments” it notes the corruption investigation against another former vice minister, Ma Jian, who was sentenced to life in prison in 2018. The vice minister section is blank. Rumor? This story is all over the foreign press but not a breath of it in any US media that I could find.
  7. https://www.the-sun.com/news/3057850/celebrity-millennium-passengers-vaccinated-america-covid-positive/ TWO passengers onboard the first fully-vaccinated cruise ship in North America have tested positive for coronavirus. The passengers, who shared a room on the Celebrity Millennium, tested positive during the end-of-cruise testing which is completed three days before returning to the US. In a statement released today, Celebrity said: "Two guests sharing a stateroom onboard Celebrity Millennium tested positive for Covid-19 while conducting the required end of cruise testing. "The individuals are asymptomatic and currently in isolation and being monitored by our medical team. "We are conducting contact tracing, expediting testing for all those close contacts, and closely monitoring the situation." All passengers were required to show proof of vaccination along with a negative Covid-19 test within 72-hours before the ship departed. The cruise departed the Caribbean island of St. Maarten on Saturday. The Celebrity Millennium is now docked in Curaço with the passengers who tested positive remaining in isolation. The ship will return to St. Maarten this Saturday to disembark. The Celebrity Millennium became the first ship to sail with guests from North America in more than a year. Just under 600 guests were welcomed onboard on Saturday. Are we just this stupid? Just because someone has been vaccinated doesn't mean they can't carry the virus. The vaccination was intended to give your body the ability to counter the virus.
  8. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9672779/Liberal-media-ignoring-Hunter-Bidens-n-word-texts.html How the liberal media have completely IGNORED Hunter Biden's N-word scandal: Not ONE left-leaning outlet covered the president's son using racist language in texts first revealed by DailyMail.com The texts, which were exchanged in late 2018 and early 2019, were recovered from Hunter Biden's laptop and published by DailyMail.com on Monday The messages showed Biden repeatedly used the n-word in conversations with his white Chicago lawyer George Messires In the days since the texts surfaced, the majority of US media outlets have chosen not to cover Biden's use of the racial slur Left-leaning networks, including CNN and ABC and MSNBC, haven't dedicated notable air time to the story New York Times and Washington Post's frontpages have also not featured it The lack of coverage has prompted outrage among conservatives with many accusing the liberal media of double standards https://sandrarose.com/2021/06/barack-obama-responds-to-hunter-bidens-n-word-text-messages/ Barack Obama responds to Hunter Biden’s N-word text messages Wednesday, June 9, 2021 Former president Barack Obama responded indirectly to leaked text messages that reveal Hunter Biden is comfortable using a racial slur among his friends. In a new interview with Anderson Cooper, Obama praised his daughters, Sasha, left, and Malia, right, for their personal views on "cancel culture," saying his girls don't expect everyone to be perfect. Some social media users suggest Obama knew the texts would leak, and he was getting ahead of the scandal by rationalizing Hunter's behavior as imperfect. "If @DonaldJTrumpJr had just ONE text like this, the media mob would be enraged!!! Where is the #cancelculture," wrote one Twitter user. Another user wrote: "Imagine if this were Don Jr. The overload of outrage would break Twitter." Exclusive emails obtained by DailyMail.com reveal Hunter Biden used the N-word in multiple text messages to his white attorney, George Mesires. The U.S. president's son dropped the N-word multiple times in text messages to his own lawyer -- who didn't object to the word. In a December 2018 text exchange, Hunter, 51, wrote, "How much money do I owe you. Becaause [sic] ni**a you better not be charging me Hennessy rates." In another text exchange with his attorney, Hunter wrote: "And I only love you because you're black." His attorney replied: "It's so annoying when you interject with frivolity." Hunter responded: "True dat ni**a." So far, Mesires has not commented on the brewing scandal publicly. As of Wednesday, only Fox News, Yahoo News, the Washington Examiner and the NY Post had covered Hunter's text message scandal. So it appears blacks can't be racist, and neither can a Biden that uses the N-word regularly.....
  9. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9665677/Man-racially-abuses-Asian-NYPD-officer-yelling-black-people-racist.html Disturbing video has emerged showing a black man directing a string of racial slurs at an Asian NYPD officer during unrest in Manhattan's Washington Square Park over the weekend. The unnamed man is seen in the expletive-laden video, which was uploaded to Reddit on Sunday, being confronted by a group of officers who appear to ask him to move from the road onto the sidewalk. The man, dressed in a white T-shirt and a ball cap, appears to single out the Asian-American cop and unleashes a vile tirade at him: 'You’re not even from this country. You piece of s***. You f***ing ch**k!' He repeats the offensive ethnic slur referring to a person of Chinese descent over and over again without drawing any response from the targeted officer. Another cop tries to deescalate the situation and leads his colleagues away as the irate man continues to yell racial abuse. Moments later, a man passing by on a bicycle overhears the slurs and calls out the abuser. 'Why you calling people ch**k, man? F*** you!' the cyclist yells at the man in the white t-shirt. The man immediately turns on the biker, repeatedly yelling at him to 'suck my d***.' When a bystander accuses the enraged man of being racist, he shoots back: 'black people can't be racist, you piece of s***.' The man continues peppering the Asian-American officer with racial slurs as he and his colleagues walk toward the iconic Washington Square Park Arch. The man boasts that he works 'for the state' and yells that he pays the officers' salaries. As the NYPD officers disappear in the distance, the man turns toward the camera recording his rant and stresses that his offensive words 'don't go out to all Asian people,' but rather only to the police. 'The cops are not our friends,' he argues. He then repeats the assertion that 'black people cannot be racist.' He adds: 'we could be prejudiced to prejudge something, but we cannot be racist; these motherf***ers [the police] are racist. 'Whether you're Asian, Hispanic... or other than European, and you've joined the police force, you should know the oppression that is being placed out on our people. That's why I called him a ch**k.' The NYPD addressed the recording of the foul-mouthed encounter, calling it 'disturbing' in a statement to the New York Post. 'Each day, NYPD officers are expected to maintain a level of professionalism under an array of difficult circumstances,' a police spokesperson said. 'In this instance, an Asian police officer was subjected to an ugly onslaught of racial slurs and maintained his composure. However, it is disturbing to see this type of language used against any Asian person in light of the disturbing increase of Asian hate crimes citywide.' New York City has experienced a wave of anti-Asian assaults since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic amid a broader spike in crime rates. Over the weekend, Washington Square Park became the site of violent clashes between the police and people protesting a new 10pm curfew that has been put in place to crack down on large public gatherings, littering and noise, reported New York Times. Officers in riot gear were seen wrestling with protesters chanting 'abolish the police' while removing them from the park. The incident resulted in nearly two dozen arrests. It is unclear if the man in the Reddit video was part of the protest against the curfew. So "black people can't be racist" is a thing, which apparently justifies this individual's "prejudice" and verbal assault against an Asian LEO.......
  10. https://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-report-concluded-covid-19-may-have-leaked-from-wuhan-lab-11623106982?mod=hp_lead_pos11&fbclid=IwAR0eEuu2o7ZGpLnvPdmAq0HX6mS7LyvbvTpC_yC3_XrY--zMJVKOmMdX0Uk Questions are mounting about whether officials intentionally suppressed a top secret government report concluding COVID-19 could have originated in a lab leak, after it emerged that the study took five months to reach the State Department. Lawrence Livermore National Lab's secretive 'Z Division' intelligence unit produced the report on May 27, 2020, but it did not reach the State Department until last October, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. Dr. David J. Rakestraw, a senior science adviser who formerly ran LLNL's biodefense programs and coordinated the lab’s COVID-19 technical response, was reportedly intimately involved in the preparation of the Z Division report. The classified study weighed the lab leak possibility as well as the theory that the pandemic crossed over naturally from an animal, and concluded that both scenarios were plausible and could not be ruled out. Two U.S. experts have penned a damning essay saying that science strongly suggests the novel coronavirus was manufactured inside a Chinese laboratory. The claim was made by Drs Stephen Quay, CEO of biopharmaceutical company Atossa Therapeutics Inc, and Richard Muller, a physics professor at the University of California Berkeley, in The Wall Street Journal on Sunday. In the op-ed, the men say their proof lies in genome sequencing, or analyzing the DNA, of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. There are 36 DNA segments - made up of three-letter 'words' - that viruses use to make an amino acid known as L-arginine. L-arginine helps make proteins but is also often used in so-called 'gain of function' research, which alters viruses to make them more transmissible and more deadly. The new virus contains a segment called CGG-CGG, which is considered rare even in experiments in which researchers are trying to manipulate virus. But even more telling is that this combination has never been found naturally in any other type of coronavirus, including in SARS and MERS, both of which are cousins of the new virus. 'A virus simply cannot pick up a sequence from another virus if that sequence isn't present in any other virus,' Quay and Muller wrote. 'The CGG-CGG combination has never been found naturally. That means the common method of viruses picking up new skills, called recombination, cannot operate here.' Why did a US lab that was obviously under Fauci's purview sit on this report for 5-6 months with this damning "manufactured" conclusion in direct opposition to Fauci's "conclusion" of "natural origin". This virus has a gene combination that has never been found naturally. IMHO - Dr. Fauci knew then and has been caught.
  11. https://www.thedailybeast.com/nbcs-lester-holt-grills-kamala-harris-on-migrant-crisis-you-havent-been-to-the-border NBC anchor Lester Holt pressed Vice President Kamala Harris on why she has yet to visit the U.S.-Mexico border despite being put in charge of the nation’s migrant crisis, prompting the veep to wave off the question with a laugh. Amid her two-day visit to Guatemala and Mexico to address the root causes of the surge of migration at the United States’ southern border, Harris sat down with Holt for an interview set to air Tuesday night on NBC. And while expressing cautious optimism about the ongoing immigration issues, the vice president warned that there is no “quick fix” to the situation. “We are not going to see an immediate return. But we’re going to see progress,” she declared. “The real work is going to take time to manifest itself. Will it be worth it? Yes. Will it take some time? Yes.” At the same time, Holt noted that Harris has been criticized—largely by Republicans—over her refusal to visit the border ever since she’s been tasked by President Joe Biden to lead the administration’s response to the influx of migrants. “The question that has come up and you heard it here and you’ll hear it again I’m sure, is, ‘Why not visit the border? Why not see what Americans are seeing in this crisis?’” Holt wondered aloud. “Well, we are going to the border,” Harris responded. “We have to deal with what’s happening at the border, there’s no question about that. That’s not a debatable point. But we have to understand that there’s a reason people are arriving at our border and ask what is that reason and then identify the problem so we can fix it.” Later on in the interview, the NBC News anchor circled back to that topic, challenging Harris on her personal absence from the border thus far, prompting the vice president to seemingly get a bit annoyed by the question. “Do you have any plans to visit the border?” Holt asked. “At some point, you know, we are going to the border,” Harris replied. “We’ve been to the border. So this whole thing about the border. We’ve been to the border. We’ve been to the border.” Holt shot back: “You haven’t been to the border.” “And I haven’t been to Europe!” Harris exclaimed with an awkward laugh. “And I mean—I don’t understand the point that you’re making. I’m not discounting the importance of the border.” Holt, meanwhile, pointed out that it wasn’t just Republicans urging Harris to personally make an appearance at the border, noting that Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) has repeatedly called on the Biden administration to visit the region. “I care about what’s happening at the border,” Harris contended. “I’m in Guatemala because my focus is dealing with the root causes of migration. There may be some who think that that is not important, but it is my firm belief that if we care about what’s happening at the border, we better care about the root causes and address them. And so that’s what I’m doing.” LH: Why not visit the border? KH: At some point, we are going to the border, We've been to the border, We've been to the border..... LH: You haven't been to the border KH: And I haven't been to Europe....HahahaHA HA....I don't understand your question - smirk......
  12. https://nypost.com/2021/06/02/team-bidens-atrocious-advice-to-jews-to-hide-their-identity/ “It pains me to say this,” tweeted Team Biden staffer Aaron Keyak recently, “but if you fear for your life or physical safety, take off your kippah and hide your” Star of David. Keyak’s official White House title is “Jewish engagement director,” and his tweet revealed much about Team Biden’s views on anti-Semitism and cultural politics in 2021 — none of it good. Keyak, an Orthodox Jew, is a longtime Beltway swamp creature and Democratic Party hack. During the 2020 campaign, it was his job to tell Jewish voters that then-President Donald Trump was their No. 1 enemy, that his supposed philo-Semitism was a ruse. Trump was arguably the most pro-Israel and pro-Jewish president in US history. Fulfilling a promise made by several of his predecessors, and dismissing the objections of the foreign-policy establishment, Trump moved the US embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv. To the amazement of the world, he also brokered historic peace deals between the Israelis and several Muslim states. How to paint Trump as bad for Jews and Israel? Easy — by lying. Repeatedly, Keyak echoed the “both sides” calumny, the false notion that Trump praised the neo-Nazis who marched in Charlottesville in 2017. Trump, Keyak said, had “inspired . . . anti-Semites to feel encouraged” and thus “made me feel unsafe in my own country.” Trump’s presidency, he wrote in the lefty Israeli newspaper Haaretz, “has helped embolden white supremacy throughout America. He has routinely refused to condemn their hatred.” All lies. But all, apparently, in a day’s work for a Biden apparatchik. Of course, it was precisely the wobbliness of President Joe Biden’s support for Israel that emboldened Hamas to attack the Jewish state. And it was the ensuing conflict that led to a wave of physical assaults against Jews across America — none of them, it is safe to say, perpetrated by people in MAGA hats. And what, in this dire situation made possible by his boss’s fecklessness, is Keyak’s suggestion to his fellow Jews? To put away the outward signs of their faith and peoplehood. It was heartening to read the replies to Keyak’s tweet: “Nobody should have to hide who they are to be safe in America.” “That type of submission never led to anything good.” “Interesting — I didn’t fear for my life or physical safety under Trump.” Having lived in Europe for two decades, I’m not unfamiliar with the idea of Jews concealing their identity. As the Continent’s Muslim population has grown, so, too, has the amount of brutal public violence against Jews. The “genteel” anti-Semitism of European cultural elites, usually disguised as opposition to Israel, often abets the street-level Islamist thuggery. The result: Even as European Muslims audaciously block traffic by praying in the streets, European Jews don’t dare hang a tiny Star of David from their necks. In 2013, 49 percent of Jews in Sweden said they didn’t dare to wear such objects in public; the corresponding figures for France and Belgium were 40 and 36 percent, respectively. In the years since, those numbers have only risen. Hiding one’s Jewish identity, alas, is always only one step in a grievous process of retreat. The first step is explicitly distancing oneself from Israel. The second step is removing the kippa and Star of David. And the third step is flight. “Facing record levels of anti-Semitism,” reported National Geographic in 2019, “many French Jews are joining an exodus to Israel. A third of all the French Jews who’ve emigrated to Israel since its establishment in 1948 have done so in the last 10 years.” The trend is present across Western and Northern Europe. Where are these Jews fleeing to? Many choose Israel, needless to say. But others settle in America. Yet with our new president lavishing praise on anti-Semites like Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib (and sending mixed messages on the vile Linda Sarsour), and with his errand boy Aaron Keyak urging his fellow Jews to ditch their yarmulkes, what kind of refuge can America be? You don’t have to be Jewish to be distressed by the thought that America, under Biden, may be the next Western country Jews flee. Really? Isn't this akin to instructing Muslim women to remove their Burkha or Hindus to not wear a head-wrap?

  14. Lumber in the RV industry is at least 30% of the bill of materials in an average RV. By far, the biggest expense in the BOM. Wholesale pricing on RVs this year is a whopping 15 - 25% higher to dealers for new product and the dealers are holding ransoms on selling retail units from inventory because of the time it is taking to get any more inventory and knowing what they will have to pay for a replacement. Retail demand is not affected by the increase in price as yet, but give it time, and it will be. Our supplier is telling us the lumber producers in Canada are full of inventory, but the commodity pricing on lumber where suppliers have already paid higher prices for the current inventory hasn't adjusted yet since that expensive lumber is still on the shelves, and that could have a huge impact as the mills have to move the new cut lumber. They are expecting the price to bottom out fast if the supply chain pricing doesn't begin adjusting at the wholesale/retail level.

Many of the emails appear to suggest that it’s possible Dr. Fauci may have known more about the origin of the Wuhan virus than he disclosed. One email, in particular, is raising a few eyebrows… On February 21, 2020, Dr. Fauci received an email from Michael Jacobs, a Weill Cornel Medical College Associate Professor of Dermatology. In his letter, Jacobs, who explained that he got Dr. Fauci’s email address from Mr. Michael Lockshin, wrote: “We have been following the coronavirus pandemic closely,” he wrote. “We think that there is a possibility that the virus was released from a lab in Wuhan, the biotech area of China.” The Weil Cornell Medical College student added, “We also think the virus might be complexed with another organism, such as yeast or fungus to make it more sticky.” He requested a meeting with Dr. Fauci to discuss their findings, saying, “We feel that immediate action must be taken by United States scientists to try to neutralize this threat.” Fauci forwarded this in February to a colleague with the words "please handle"

And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”
