  1. I was struck with a switch multiple times as a child for certain transgressions, and probably deserved it. I was even paddled twice during my stint at the local government elementary school. Would you like to report my parents and the teachers/administrators of the school to the proper authorities?
  2. My mother at some point during my and my siblings upbringing uttered all those quotes from the right, and she didn't live in a nursing home. What exactly is your point Dante? That parents who emphasize raising their children to know right from wrong, accepting personal responsibility for their actions and the freedom that comes with such responsibility are to be relegated to the proverbial scrap heap?
  3. As it should be with a true constitutional, limited government. Something you obviously abhor.
  4. Here is one methodology: http://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/most-racist-countries/
  5. So because the Clinton's did not "campaign on their morals" you and others were willing to give them a pass, and your vote?
  6. Given the fact the p/p schools make up less than 10% of all football playing high schools recognized by the IHSAA I would say the data does the support the argument. P/p schools have advantages public high school will never have. This has been hashed and rehashed multiple times here on the GID.
  7. Something he probably learned under the tutelage of Rory Reid.
  8. Define "most". I have a relative who was born in America and is now also a citizen of a EU country.
  9. https://www.dailywire.com/news/49862/walsh-erica-thomas-matt-walsh Good question by Mr. Walsh. And as one of the comments to his commentary states: If America Is A Racist Country: 1. why is there 900,000 at the border dying to get in ? 2. Why do people apply for visa's : In fiscal year 2017, the United States issued 9,681,913 non-immigrant visas and 559,536 immigrant visas. 3. Why aren't people leaving?
  10. Caveat Emptor. We evil libertarians, insisting that personal responsibility and private, voluntary licensing groups could ever hope to replace a government bureaucracy.
  11. Rep. Rashida Tlaib Wants a $20 Minimum Wage for Tipped Workers. That Would Likely Destroy the Restaurant Industry.: https://reason.com/2019/07/24/rep-rashida-tlaib-wants-a-20-minimum-wage-for-tipped-workers-that-would-likely-destroy-the-restaurant-industry/
  12. I doubt a con man moving from state to state today would even bother with acquiring a legal professional license issued by the state before starting his con. Whatever professional license documentation he has is mostly likely counterfeit, therefore making it easier to start his con in a reciprocal state.
  13. Did you even read the article, or educate yourself on what occupational licensing does to those who want to move to another state and work in the same profession? No licensing means no more hundreds to thousands of hours of state mandated course work which costs thousands of dollars to take. No more licensing means no more hundreds to thousands of dollars spent on to just obtaining the pretty piece of paper issued by the state which you can display in your place of business. It means more freedom.
  14. Occupational Licensing Stops Workers From Moving Across State Lines. Andrew Yang Wants To Fix That.: https://reason.com/2019/07/23/occupational-licensing-stops-workers-from-moving-across-state-lines-andrew-yang-wants-to-fix-that/ Here's a novel idea; get rid of occupational licensing by the state altogether. I guarantee we will not suddenly have cars careening off of the roads due to shoddy repairs or people dropping dead in the streets due to a misdiagnosed or mistreated illness.
  15. Your point being? If anything it is worse today than it was in 1982.
  16. So you truly do not believe that is the basic mindset of Mr. Trump, along with nearly every elected politician in Washington, D.C.? Kicking the can down the road is standard operating procedure.
  17. Trump is reportedly not worried about a massive US debt crisis as he'll be out of office by then: https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-debt-crisis-fine-wont-be-here-report-2018-12]\ So in that respect Mr. Trump really isn't all that different from the other uni-party politicians in Washington.
