    You may be right, you may be wrong long term. But do you realize by simply plugging them into that Sectional based on current Sagrin ratings Dwenger is the highest rated team.

    How many other people think Coach Johnson didn’t know it was 4th down on that last play. Not sure he knew he lost a down to the intentional grounding penalty. North go up to the line fast and called a play like their season wasn’t on the line and it was just any play.

    Merrillville could also be hosting Chesterton for Regionals which changes everything for Semi-State. I am not trying to map everything out. I am just stating Snider and BD have a great chance at hosting Semi-State if all things are equal.

    Mishawaka would be home for Regionals against Snider or BD as they would be at Concord for Sectional Final. if Snider or BD come out they most likely would be away for Regionals while North Side would be home for Regionals. Snider and BD have good path for home Semi-State if they were to make it.

    This is not entirely true. The FW Area teams (Sectional 12) hold the tie breaker for Semi-State in 5A this year followed by Sectional 11. So all things being equal Merrillville would have to be on the road for Semi-State.

    Population BD= 985 Zionsville= 2161 Shouldn’t it be more surprising if the game was the other way around? Not sure how many people realize BD isn’t that big. More importantly why does BD always get lumped into being with the big conference? At some point isn’t there going to be diminishing returns if they constantly play schools with 2x or 3x student population.

    Assuming nothing is crazy with alignments, Dwenger and Snider both cannot go far. They will have to possibly go through each other in sectionals for the first time ever. At least I think first time ever.

    So someone states their opinion that Zionsville is #2 in 5A, I disagree then get bashed. Interesting??

    Zionsville beat Dwenger but Dwenger is still better than Zionsville, they just didn’t play well enough that night. Zionsville didn’t catch Dwenger in Sagrain until after winning Semistate

    No but sometimes the “State game” isn’t really the state game.

    As a coach you don’t say it to the kids but you have to know when you are the worse team and play to keep it close so you MIGHT have a chance. Playing for the win does not work until you actually having that chance to win.

    That is fact. Concordia had the worst path of any school outside of 6A to make it to state.

    I disagree for two reasons. One make them earn it and two Danville has stopped them or the score would already be worse. Chatard is already better don’t HELP them

    With 3 timeouts I think SA should of let them score first play from scrimmage Put the ball back into the strength of your team

    South Adam’s has rolled everyone all season, will be interesting if they even know how to make adjustments since they have never needed to. I’m not even sure if they have played a second half all season.

    Dwenger is still up as well. So not sure why 4A will be so different next year. Seems only difference is Chatard but will be paired with Roncalli so it is muted. 4A is always quality but I don’t think the quality is any different next year

    Hobart will need to make massive adjustments at halftime if it isn’t too late. Right now Hobart is being out coached formationally and schematically.
