I am by no means a weatherman, but I believe this is just the path of the eye of the storm. There will still be strong storms outside the red cone of the hurricane.

I thought I saw on Weather Channel the expected path of the hurricane was supposed to go over Southern Indiana Friday evening. The forecast for Evansville on Weather.com is much different than Twig Land.

The hurricane probably won't effect most of the state, but I would be interested to see if anyone is moving their game to Saturday or rolling the dice and trying to play tomorrow?

No argument here about last years game. Garzolini has made huge strides in the offseason and should be able to improve his stock from his Sophomore year. He does have an offer from Indiana State and I don't suspect that will be his only scholarship offer. Good Luck to the Stars and maybe we will meet again this season.

LB Joey Shew has had some feelers from FCS schools. RB Anthonio Nieves is probably not at that level, but will be a college football player. I think people are poking a little fun at SV with the D1 comments!

I have no idea who played or didnt play, I dont follow NV that closely. I just know if you cant stop Owen Valley, it will be very difficult to stop SV!

I don't expect the NV/SV game to be close. Garzolini throws for a bunch and Anthonio rushes for 200+. Given the fact NV gave up 28 to Owen Valley, expect SV to put up at least 40.

The real story I was told is that Parke Heritage agreed to the game with Franklin County. The teams then traded film to prepare for the game that night. The next morning Coach Moore decided that his team was out manned and someone could get injured, so he told his AD that they didn't want to play. This had nothing to do with COVID or driving distance and everything to do with Moore not wanting to lose. Sad that he took away an opportunity for the PH kids to play during all this uncertainty of playing a season.

Very good points. I don't think anyone is sleeping on GS, if so they are mistaken. Columbus North is always known for being physical and Whiteland is very good at misdirection plays. Its definitely good experience for the Titans! Hope everyone stays healthy on and off the field, so we can keep this season going!

I definitely think it is important to play competition, it always makes you better. However, at what point is it a detriment to your team? Kudos, to GS for scheduling biggest schools, not everyone would do that, just wondering if they have too many big schools.

SV isn't in the WIC anymore, but I will make some predictions for you... Twin Lakes - could be a rough year in Clover Land. Greenwood - Big time game for IC, but the Woodmen have a solid team. Jennings County- Brown County got the W over a lowly Pike Central team. Sullivan- Miners have had the upper hand in this series here recently, Miners are young, Arrows win Edgewood - Monorvia hans won in a while. take the Stangs North Putnam - Southmont didn't play Week 1, so give the nod to NP in having a little game action. Northview- Knights lost in OT to TH North, should be the better team in this one. South Putnam- Not sure if 84 was necessary against Cloverdale. (How do you get that with a running clock) SP wins over OV West Vigo - Both programs struggled last year. Expect a low scoring grind it out game. Vikings win

The Picks are in: 1. Forest Park - The Rangers coming off their biggest win a few years should have more than enough to handle the Lionel and the Commodores. 2. North Posey - Vikings will be able to conquer the Tigers and Coach Schenk will be satisfied with a victory over his former team. 3. Heritage Hills - Tell City has a good football team, but something tells me the Pats will be fired up and take out their frustrations on the Men of Tell. 4. Mt. Vernon - After their big win over HH, which hadn't been done this century, the Cats shouldn't have too much trouble with the Rebs. 5. Pike Central - Chargers will get their first W in a long time and there will be a party at Fish Hut Pizza! 6. Southridge - Pioneers have a very good running attack, but the Raiders will be geared to stop the run. Expect a close one, but Ill take the Ridge. 7. Whiteland - Much respect to the Titans for their schedule, but Whiteland just defeated Columbus East. Whiteland wins big!

Why did they back out? Seems strange to agree upon a game and then back out the next day?

If its not COVID related, something isn't right. The kids deserve a chance to play, because that opportunity may not be there for a whole season.

Last night I saw on Twitter they were playing?? Would have been.a great opportunity for PH to play a bigger school. Honestly, with all this COVID stuff, I am surprised someone would just not play.

Seeger is in quarantine and had to cancel vs Parke Heritage. I am really looking forward to see how the Wolves stack up against a bigger school in Franklin County. Playing a school like that, definitely helps PH prepare for the rest of their season. Win or lose a game like this makes you better!

Does Coach Barrett wear a visor? Does he have the best hair in the WRC? Does our logo look like a tiger? Will people skip our home games to go to the Little Italy Festival? The answer to all of these questions is, YES!

Let's take a look at the WRC! Predicted Cheap Seats order of finish 1. South Vermillion - With the best QB, RB, and LB in the WRC it is hard not to make them my top pick. (maybe bias) Coach Barrett has done a tremendous job with this program! 2. Seeger - Coach King has this team on the verge of big things. With Stephen back and a very talented group of skill kids, this is a team to be reckoned with this year. 3. Parke Heritage - Johnson and Johnson will put other teams in tears. The 2 questions are: Can the defense stop anyone and Can Moore beat Crabtree?? 4. North Vermillion - Its hard to think the Falcons will fall out of the top spot in the WRC, but graduation hit hard. Still tough to count Crabtree and Co. out. 5. Riverton Parke - (assuming they play) Is this the year the Panthers pounce into the top half of the conference? probably not. 6. Attica - Numbers may be low, but expect to see the Ramblers compete and a win a few. 7. Covington - Not sure if an XFL filming background will lead to wins for the Men of Troy, but it should be enough to beat FC. 8. Fountain Central - Where have the football players gone in southern Fountain county? Hoping they get 1, because another 0fer would be bad for the Stangs.

Please don't take it as fishing, because that wasn't the intention. Saw some highlights on the internet of some teams, and it looked very shaky. Just trying to gather info from people who may have been at the scrimmages to add more insight. I could be wrong, but it wouldn't be that surprising if the conference was down from last year. There have been some pretty strong teams in the PAC over the last few years.

What is the proper end zone camera protocol for teams? Do you share the same end zone? Do you set up in opposite end zones? Is it first come first served?

Heard that most PAC scrimmages were less than impressive. Not sure if that is a lack of summer time work or just a downward trend in talent this season. Looks like it could be a down year across the board in the PAC.

Im guessing he would have to move to be eligible per IHSAA rules. My question: Could an Illinois kid move to Indiana for the fall semester and play football here and the move back to Illinois after Christmas and play football in the spring in Illinois? 2 football seasons in 1 school year?
