Wabash River Conference Week 9
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
So Seeger gets their soul and sole possession of 2nd place if they win? Who says these games don't mean anything? I'll take South Vermillion, Covington, North Vermillion & Fountain Central this week. -
Hoosier Conference 2023
Ballhawk replied to CoachDurham's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Is it really Tipton - Rensselaer in the 7/8 game? What in the Sam Hill is going on in the Hoosier? Have either of those two ever played for spots that low? I'm glad to see the Blue Devils there, but c'mon Bombers! I expect more from RC. -
Conference realignments
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Donnie, next week instead of the WRC pick 'em, start a poll: Zimas or Bartles & Jaymes? Strippers - piercings or tattoos or both? Mobile home - trailer or manufactured housing? Shorts - nut huggers or simple gym Hair - mullet or perm? There should be plenty of test subjects in Warren & Fountain Counties. -
Conference realignments
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I would ask why a mullet headed, Zubaz wearing, Fentanyl w/ wine cooler white trash high school hero would give two shakes? Take Lucy Draper back to the no tell motel, liquor her up with Zimas and get the hell out of here! Let people have some entertainment. It's always fun to speculate what conferences might be changing and who might be moving to greener pastures. -
Hoosier Conference Question
Ballhawk replied to cpg1970's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
He could probably pull that one off, I agree. The Bison would probably dominate that league though. -
Hoosier Heartland Week 7
Ballhawk replied to Landrys Hat's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Clinton Central at Carroll - Carroll continues to roll. Clinton Prairie at Taylor - CP rebounds from 2 straight losses. Delphi at Sheridan - Hawks win on youth football/cheerleading night. I only mention it because I'm a cheerleader grandpa now and I have to get the shameless plug in. Eastern at Tri-Central - I don't think the Comets win with a running clock, but they should still cruise. -
Hoosier Conference Question
Ballhawk replied to cpg1970's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
In Sheridan's early days in the HC, the Bison thumped us pretty good. The tables began to turn in 2003, when Sheridan beat BC for the first time. After that they never lost to the Bison again, and returned those thumpings with interest. I've never stated BC would be a winner in the HHC, but they would certainly be more competitive across all sports. BC has seemed to have stayed in the HC for girls basketball, and that's been a fatal mistake for their program. -
Hoosier Conference Question
Ballhawk replied to cpg1970's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
The Hoosier isn't the only conference that utilizes the forward pass. I think the Bison would be accepted just fine. Would the Bison want to go to a conference where they don't get whipped every week? Delphi lost to BC 21-12 and Delphi is mid-pack HHC. Dem Bizun need a change of scenery. -

Wabash River Conference Week 6
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
At least I can read. Hopefully the football gets better. Class A football is always more interesting when one or more of the WRC teams is relevant. Whether it was Attica, Fountain Central, North Vermillion, Rockville or Seeger, it seemed one of these teams was always in the mix come playoff time. How many years has it been? Maybe NVs run around 2017-18? It's time for the WRC to step up. -

Wabash River Conference Week 6
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Well that explains why you moved there, doesn't it? What liquor/convenience stores still sell Zimas? Do they also carry Bartles & James? It would be nice if the schools would get better at football so we could talk about that. Tenderloins, Zimas, wine coolers, Zubaz, Donnie's drug issues and death. This is all fascinating, but what's going on on the field? -
Wabash River Conference Week 6
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Dammit Donnie, where's the negative? I suppose you switched from Zubaz to camo, didn't you? Didn't I just read you died of accidental Fentanyl & alcohol poisoning? Even Jesus couldn't come back from that concoction. I'll say that straight to your face. If you're not an Attica boy then I'm the King of Judyville. -
HOOSIER HEARTLAND CONFERENCE WEEK 6
Ballhawk replied to Gap Down Backer's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Tri Central @ Carroll - Cougars by a substantial amount. Sheridan @ Taylor - 9-time won #450 at Sheridan this past Friday. #451 won't be nearly as close. Delphi @ C. Prairie - Gophers bounce back from loss at Sheridan. Eastern @ C. Central - Comets bounce back from that a** thumping dished out by the Cougars. -
Wabash River Conference Week 6
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
It's all good fun. If I see any of you in camo it's game on! That is where I draw the line. -
2 Point Games Central Catholic @ Rensselaer - I miss Wagonmasters, Coach Nowlin & the awesome pre-game music at RC. I miss #7 running QB power on the first play for a TD. I'd pick the Bombers, but as a good Catholic I have to go with the gang from Lafayette. Northwestern @ Tipton Twin Lakes @ Hamilton Heights Western @ Linton West Lafayette @ Benton Central Lafayette Jeff @ Harrison Richmond @ Muncie Central Seeger @ Fountain Central Triton @ Pioneer Knox @ LaVille

Wabash River Conference Week 6
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
North Vermilion at Attica - I think I upset Donnie last week with my 11-man comment. Sorry Donnie, with you being dead and everything you'd think I'd have more sympathy. Your team take another thumping this week as NV rolls the Ramblers. Why do all the self-proclaimed princesses and hot girls not like the Ramblers? Jealously, I dare say? Parke Heritage at Covington - Trojans still have enough left in the tank to ram it to the Wolves. Seeger at Fountain Central - I'll take the Mustangs at home. Even though I have 'family' connections to Seeger (not since the early 60s), FC and their HOF coach pull this one out. South Vermilion at Riverton Parke - didn't visors go out of fashion with Zubaz pants and backward hats? Give me a real hat and some Beechnut Wintergreen. SV will still win though. Let's think, royalf00tball is someone that doesn't like Parke County & Seeger but likes FC now? Would this someone be a fan of a HOF coach with a mediocre record and 1 state runner-up (to Ballhawk's team, of course!)? Am I getting warm royalf00tball? -
Wabash River Conference Week 5
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
You guys? I'm a Sheridan Blackhawks follower. They have plenty of boys on their team this year. I'm an Attica native with an old Seeger helmet for my picture, plus some family that played for FC. That's the only connection I still have to that area, besides some friends from long ago. My only experience with Covington is the 1979 and 1980 seasons when we gave them a pretty sound thumping to open the season. -
Wabash River Conference Week 5
Ballhawk replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Does each team still play with 11 players? Asking for a friend. You do have the largest 2A school playing a lot of the smallest football schools, even though Seeger is 2A as well (they are the 4th smallest 2A and seem to bounce back and forth to 1A). Would you say North Vermillion with an enrollment ranking 309th is at a disadvantage? They seem to compete pretty well and don't make excuses.
