  1. This will be the 15th time these two teams have played in Coach Hart's 10 seasons at Gibson Southern. Gibson Southern is 9-5 vs Heritage Hills during his tenure. 09-21-2012 Gibson Southern 14 - 10 Heritage Hills 09-27-2013 Gibson Southern 50 - 26 Heritage Hills 09-26-2014 Gibson Southern 33 - 38 Heritage Hills 11-07-2014 Gibson Southern 13 - 14 Heritage Hills 09-25-2015 Gibson Southern 42 - 13 Heritage Hills 09-23-2016 Gibson Southern 38 - 10 Heritage Hills 09-22-2017 Gibson Southern 48 - 7 Heritage Hills 09-21-2018 Gibson Southern 7 - 31 Heritage Hills 10-26-2018 Gibson Southern 24 - 14 Heritage Hills 09-27-2019 Gibson Southern 14 - 49 Heritage Hills 11-01-2019 Gibson Southern 20 - 21 Heritage Hills 09-25-2020 Gibson Southern 38 - 0 Heritage Hills 10-23-2020 Gibson Southern 21 - 10 Heritage Hills 09-24-2021 Gibson Southern 42 - 3 Heritage Hills

  3. This reminds me of when Screech fought Horshack.
  4. That’s certainly one opinion…but not the only way to win a football game. No shot clock…strategy should have a place. I can see kids run up and down the court at the play ground.
  5. You look at it incorrectly. It’s really this simple…it’s hard for the other team to score when they don’t have the ball. By keeping a dynamic offense off the field you not only slowly demoralize their defense…their offense is on the sideline tightening up. There are many ways to play a football game and I’m certainly not saying theirs is my favorite. But it is effective and it certainly is NOT playing to not lose. People who don’t like their style of play also probably want a shot clock in high school basketball.
  6. He didn't really emerge until last season (had senior receivers ahead of him when he was a sophomore) then he really took off this season so I think what you are saying is spot on.
  7. Disagree, even when they have a play maker the MO is always the same. Move the chains, eat the clock. Noone will turn down big chunk plays but they most certainly desire a short game and coach Wilkerson will tell you that straight to your face. They block well, tackle well and special teams is clearly a huge focus.
  8. GS vs HH.....I'm going to predict a halfback pass type of play at some point in the game from HH. I have a gut feeling. 🙂
  9. Like others have said...he hasn't been to one of their events.
  10. You mean he isn't in Coach Wilkerson's personal 40 time database? ...he he....inside joke.
  11. Funny story…ate at Zaxbys tonight with #2 and sat next to Leo Collins and Josh Russell (plus two other Memorial kids I didn’t know). We made fun of Tango together…LOL.
  12. Nice try on disrespect. HH will get no disrespect here. Memorial...probably, HH...nope.
  13. I remember the pictures the Memorial fans sent out of your tackle holding their D-end all night...cry babies! LOL
  14. Looks like GS vs HH at GS for the sectional championship.
  15. I showed up at the game in the wrong color pants, a player then, who has a 2024 GS player now....had to loan me his pants until Jack Jewell showed up with another pair right before the game started. LOL
  16. Yes I know he has one in the TYFL. One graduated a couple years ago.
  17. For a while I think Steve Naas may have broke it.
  18. North Knox did that in 1988 2A sectional semi-final vs GS.
  19. That was a bit tongue and cheek from me. All conferences have up and down years, generally the SIAC seems to have been down a little this season. I agree with you...seems like a coin toss. Calpreps: neutral field [2021] Castle (Newburgh, IN) 21, [2021] Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN) 20
  20. Agree...ie we beat Conference Indiana champ Columbus North 43-10 who Beat Bloomington South 34-10. One would think Castle should win that game.
  21. Sagarin looking like it has straighten out now with the closed conferences.
  22. Calpreps: Salem (IN) at Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN), 6:30pm [projection: Gibson Southern (Fort Branch, IN) 48-8] Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN) at Bosse (Evansville, IN), 7:00pm [projection: Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN) 34-14]
