  1. Yeah you're right, D-1 might be a stretch but let me phrase it this way.. He has 30%ish of Leo's carries on the ground, avg 11+ypc with 1300yds and 19tds on the season. If he was the centerpiece of their run game he would be 2000+ with 30tds or more. That's not Leo's offense though. And this game will not be close.. This is not the same Leo team from last year.
  2. Someone you didn't see last year is Sheron. Missed his junior year due to injury after playing mainly DE his sophomore year. Dude is a stud and I think had he not missed last year he would be getting way more college looks. He's a D-1 RB. Good luck with him lol.
  3. Another crazy game between the two schools. I think the first meeting came down to Leo converting that 4th and 8 with 2 minutes to go, and this game can be pin pointed to a couple plays here or there that would have changed the outcome again. Really, really impressed with Barbour on that final drive.. Kid has ice in his veins. Such a shame it had to come in the opening round.
  4. Leo scores with 5 seconds left in game Leo 32 EN 29 Final
  5. EN scores on 3rd play EN 29 Leo 26 1:55 left in game Rowan Zolman is a man!
  6. Leo punches it in, 2xp is no good Leo 26 EN 21 2:20 left in game.
  7. Leo driving inside the EN 20, 2:35 to go EN 21 Leo 20
  8. EN defense comes up with a stop and blocks the punt, 1st and goal at 5 yard line Scores on first play EN 21 Leo 20 6:11 left in ballgame
  9. EN can’t punch it in on 4th and goal, Leo takes over 11 minutes left in 4th
  10. EN 14 Leo 14 Halftime Leo to receive 2nd half kickoff.
  11. I agree with you here though. All of sports has changed with the way kids nowadays train. Outside of season specialized training is huge now compared to 20 years ago. These 15/16yr old QB’s that are starting are probably better, more polished, and more physically mature than the upperclassmen back then.
  12. None of that matters if the kids are buying into the coach and his program. The best kids should be playing regardless of grade and the best programs do it in a heartbeat. If the other kids don’t agree with that then it’s on them. It’s always a tough pill to swallow to be told someone took your spot though. There’s a lot more to coaching than X’s and O’s and the best coaches are even better at the relationships part of their jobs than the “easy” stuff. That Hobart kid seems pretty dang good.
  13. Ehh.. call it what you want. I’ll just say there were two halves to that game and the way the 2nd half went I will like our chances in sectionals.
  14. Leo just took lead again, 40-32 Leo with 3:29 to go.
