  1. Noblesville (who deep down I believe is ascending) has not had a winning season in over two decades and has cycled through 5 coaches (with a varying schemes and philosophies) in that span.
  2. One word: HOMESTEAD… Right, @BTF?
  3. Noblesville still trying to “figure it out.”
  4. What do you mean by "figure it out"?
  5. That too, but Carmel blows a hole in that argument. I'll actually argue (not that I feel or anyone else should feel) that 5000+ is sort of detrimental to the success of a football program.
  6. I’ve spoken on this in the past. Once you get above that 2500 student threshold there is a point of diminishing returns. 2500 means you can go 2-3 deep and most positions and that’s good enough. Little advantage to 4000+ vs 2500 as opposed to 3400 (HSE) vs 1900 (Snider). I want to be clear in that I believe Snider could compete with nearly everyone in the HCC if the contests are being viewed as independent of one another, but asking them to play that schedule 8 weeks in a row world take its toll. You’ve been openly critical of Penn’s schedule. Let me pose the same question to you…what would their record be against an 8 team HCC schedule?
  7. Should be a great game. Could make the case this will be Chatard’s toughest game of the tournament.
  8. Westfield and HSE have an average of 1000 more kids than Snider. More depth. I think we saw what happens (Westfield vs Brownsburg) in the HCC when you have a bad night. Zionsville is a close analogy. They are a damn fine football team that is an afterthought in the HCC. Close to Snider in enrollment and capable of sneaking up on anyone but simply cannot punch above their weight week after week. Reversing the question..Avon/Zionsville win 5/6 games in the SAC.
  9. Rodney is buying after the 41-14 4A state title game.
  10. No but they are least on par and if you’ve got 2-3 of those in a span of 3-4 weeks, the cumulative affect of playing those teams in succession would wear on Snider. You can’t view each individual matchup in a vacuum in my opinion.
  11. How are you gonna type with a serious face that they could potentially go 7-1 in the HCC 48 hours after saying they won’t make the 5A state title game because you expect them to “fall asleep” in the tournament, lol? You fall asleep in the HCC, the 8th place team beats you.
  12. It’ll give you 4-2 in the MIC and 4-4 in the HCC AT BEST. The cumulative grind of that schedule makes it hard for me to go any higher. Snider can take 3-4 weeks off in the SAC and be just fine.
  13. Honest question. Were Snider to play a MIC/HCC schedule what would their record be? I know my answer…
  14. Staffer suspended…MSU walking their backup QB on to the field between plays to deliver the play call verbally…8th blowout win and largest margin of victory this season. Yawn. Also, OSU stating they caught wind before the 2022 game that Michigan may be stealing signs…so they admitted they switched things up at halftime… Then were out scored 28-3 in the second half, lol.
  15. I have never viewed teams outside of the donut counties as threat to Indy area schools at the 6A level so figured even a mediocre Warren team could escape 2-0 in those games. I was wrong. Not only that but I also had them ranked ahead of both Lawrence schools but knew those were both road games. I may have had them in front of Carmel also but still did not expect them to win that game. When teams are ranked within a handful of spots of each other, homefield can tip the scales. You are reading too much into it.
  16. These were my preseason MIC O/Us… Ben Davis: 6.5 Carmel: 5.5 Center Grove: 6.5 Lawrence Central: 4.5 Lawrence North: 4.5 North Central: 1.5 Pike: 2.5 Warren Central: 5.5
  17. 5-4. Said losses to Carmel, BD, CBC and a split against the Lawrence schools. Did not see the Fort Wayne losses coming.
  18. Another week of messiness beyond the top three. Throwing darts. 1. Michigan 2. Ohio State 3. Penn State 4. Wisconsin 5. Rutgers 6. Maryland 7. Minnesota 8. Iowa 9. Nebraska 10. Purdue 11. Illinois 12. Michigan State 13. Northwestern 14. Indiana
  19. Michigan Georgia Florida State Ohio State Washington Oregon Oklahoma Texas Alabama Mississippi Utah Penn State Notre Dame Oregon State LSU Missouri UCLA North Carolina Miami (FL) USC Tennessee Air Force James Madison Duke Tulane
  20. Ok, let’s have some fun…. Do the LN transitive property when it comes to BD/Warren… Its pretty safe to say that Warren is not as good as that played that night against BD yet not as bad as they played weeks later against LN… The reverse is true about BD.
  21. I called Warren as a pretender in August others were claiming they were a contender…9 games later? 3-6. Yes, special teams are a part of the game but you can’t count on that for sustained success. Temptation is hitting at nearly an 80 percent rate…eventually folks will start listening.
