  1. False, but damn close. Nice try.
  2. Sounds like a solid championship caliber culture…
  3. Splitting hairs this early. Splitting hairs this early.
  4. The cool part is we get to see most of the top 6A teams play one another eventually. Center Grove still has Ben Davis and Cathedral. Brownsburg still has Westfield and HSE. Cathedral still has Center Grove. Warren still has Carmel and Ben Davis. Carmel still has Warren and Ben Davis. Ben Davis still has Carmel, Warren and Center Grove. Also anxious to see that next tier in the HCC. Is it HSE, Westfield, Fishers, Zionsville, Franklin Central or Noblesville with the best chance to make a statement? Best time of the year!!!
  5. Gonna come down to who can stay healthy and peak at the right time. CG is down a RB…makes their win last night even more impressive. Winning just seems to be in their DNA down there. The names and faces change, but the results don’t.
  6. Amazing. Embarrassing I had the audacity to doubt Ralph. (Foot inserted in mouth…it’s happening a lot thus far this season.)
  7. Yep. I am 0-2 on Warren games this fall. Love the parity in 6A for a change. You could make a case for over a half dozen teams to hoist the trophy after two weeks.
  8. Have Carmel fans become bored?
  9. More so what Franklin, Noblesville, Warsaw and Brebeuf DID do. Impressive wins by those four. Zionsville IS honorable mention. 26th to be precise.
  10. Center Grove Brownsburg Cathedral Warren Central Carmel New Palestine Ben Davis Hamilton Southeastern Westfield Roncalli Lawrence Central Fishers Bishop Chatard Merrillville East Central Whiteland Carroll (Fort Wayne) Penn Fort Wayne Snider Franklin Noblesville Mooresville Warsaw Brebeuf Jesuit West Lafayette
  11. Not the home run you think it is…they scored 35…
  12. I’m getting used to it.
  13. Statement game…just like Cathedral/Brownsburg. A decisive victory for either will (and should) turn heads.
  14. Don't get butt hurt about semantics. Yes, Cathedral has more high level talent at the skill positions than anyone else in Indiana and has a competent, yet inexperienced offensive line that will likely get better every week. That'll be good enough against 90 percent of its schedule (this week may be the 10 percent, but I still like the Irish to win). Willing to bet that we don't know the names yet, but at least 1-2 of the current guys on the Cathedral OL will eventually play at the next level...I am sure @Footballking16 could verify or deny that assumption. Always love it when OL guys, and by guys I mean adults, feel "disrespected" when they are not mentioned in the same breath as QBs/RBs/WRs...
  15. Not sure. Likely they were not based on being unhealthy in week 1. We will see. But if Westfield is better than Carmel and BD, just hand the 4A title to New Pal now. Damn. Bold. The second poster I have seen with this take. I just can't believe in Brownsburg yet. They strike me as a one step forward/two steps back program. Their blowout loss to BD after beating Carmel last year in the tournament broke me.
  16. “Oh shit, this vaccine doesn’t do what we originally claimed….how can we run damage control?” ”I know, let’s blame Trump.” Such a predictable playbook.
  17. One thing is clear in this one, one team is going to make a statement. A Brownsburg win, or even a close loss indicates that there is a lot of parity in 6A. A Cathedral blowout win indicates that the Irish are the odds on favorite. Just my opinion.
  18. This one seriously made me spit my beverage all over my computer screen…
  19. “Your/There.” This is such comedy at this point. Is Hobart4Life coming to the board next?
  20. Agree with many of your points but CG is still #1 in both polls (media and coaches) if I am not mistaken. A team that goes on the road and loses to that team by single digits can’t be that far behind then in any type of objective ranking system. 2-3 plays turn out differently and Warren wins that game. Save for Carmel and BD, I think Warren would still be clear favorites over every other 6A team you mentioned and all of the 5A schools you listed. I think it’s Cathedral and then everyone else honestly. Could eventually see 4-5 schools vying for that #2 ranking by season’s end…though CG will also get better each week.
  21. Crazy looking back that CG traveled to Reitz for a regional contest and hosted WARREN for a semi state contest, lol.
  22. I mean, I am no math genius but 1-12 falls well below .500 unless I am mistaken.
