    Like Crown Point and New Pal, they’ve beaten the teams they should. I’m not sure they’d be favored against anyone in the top 10 but could absolutely hold their own against the rest of the poll. My opinion of course.

    Plainfield/Whiteland Also, the only team with a halfway respectable loss to New Pal…and did so with their backup QB.

    Decatur Central has been rolling people (albeit not premier teams) and did so on 2-3 occasions with their backup QB as their Toledo bound signal caller was injured on the last play against Avon. I’ll really piss off @23andCounting with this one… Check out where Sagarin has DC.

    I would have them favored against every team in the state, except for the two that I have ranked in front of them. Maybe slight underdogs were they on the road at LN/Westfield/CG. Now, were they to play an HCC/MIC schedule weekly? I don’t think they hold up. This is message board fodder and is for fun. Seems that New Pal is unnecessarily catching strays on here.

    Yep. Same SECTIONAL. And to be honest (sorry Anderson) you throw in Plainfield and I would be willing to argue that it may be the toughest sectional in the state.

    Taking the out of state games out of the equation, Carmel is winning by an average of 37+ points per game…and they’ve beaten the 2nd/3rd best team in the HCC in two of those contests… And you think Carroll/Crown Point would be within two scores? Nah.

    Yeah, I sorta think so too. I’m beginning to think that the Dwenger game was an anomaly for Carroll.

    Bloomington South and Carroll were impressive last night. Just leapfrogged em over Northrop and Dwenger.
