It sort of interesting that some of the NP people here gave him no credit for the success NP had, and now that NP has fallen off the cliff , argue it has nothing to do with Mckim. You can just see it in the style of play and the culture of the teams the difference he has made. Should be an interesting matchup with Andrean

One of those good Indiana coaches I would think that Penn would be interested in would be Valparaiso's Bill Marshall, a young state championship-winning coach . I have no idea if he would be interested, but interestingly Penn just tapped the head basketball coach from Valpo for their head job last year. Perhaps it's karma.

Sort of amazing to listen to Penn fans question whether Valpo is a blue blood program in the north at this point....

Funny how so much shade being thrown at 5a this year when the 5a finals was the best game of the entire weekend. it was not only the most competitive game of the weekend, but it was filled with great plays and execution by both teams. So how did such an atrocious division produce such a competitive, exciting, and well played game?

I don't think any coach at the high school would sit a bunch of starters to rest them for the playoffs, unless they had some sort of injury they were allowing to heal up. This isn't the NFL week 17.

Laporte admin is a disgrace.....schoolboard had run out the previous head basketball coach....now rejected Coach James who is the heart and soul of Laporte Football...they are going into the summer with no coach....no prospects....nothing....good luck next season with no coaching staff

yes Football was restricted as to the number of kids who could be on the sidelines...the jv kids and some varsity had to pay to spectate in the sidelines....
